Waiting out for the next series of Our Girl set in Nigeria. Some of us are still mourning the passing of Elvis Harte. All discussions on Captain James and his team welcome here (as well as other things from time to time).

Nice catch there Elvis!

Rhubarb01 · 27/02/2018 21:37

Ok we are doing it again ilove

eejittwo · 27/02/2018 21:37

I love how he does that overhand catch- yeah, I AM shallow and easily impressed.

Rhubarb01 · 27/02/2018 21:38

So, those scrub trousers are definitely going to fall down at some point - this could be embarrassing.

Look at that - wow Georgie you are such a girl!

Ilovelblue · 27/02/2018 21:38

Twirly finger time ladies!

It's the infrared device! CJ well-impressed.

eejittwo · 27/02/2018 21:39

Drool!

Rhubarb01 · 27/02/2018 21:39

Phase three - that's most definitely you Elvis.

Ilovelblue · 27/02/2018 21:40

You have rose coloured glasses where Dr Dull and Boring is concerned Georgie. He's a control freak. You don't really love him - it's just that he's the exact opposite of Elvis, safe, dull and boring!

Rhubarb01 · 27/02/2018 21:40

Nice little bit of a girly chat here - sweet. Poor Kiki she didn't have much luck did she.

"There was this guy!" isn't there always.

eejittwo · 27/02/2018 21:41

Sorry, I meant to say that I've always really wanted to be able to whistle like that.
Oh, she's telling Kicki about how perfect Dr Dullandboring is.

Ilovelblue · 27/02/2018 21:43

SF again. Elvis is like a monkey clambering up the tree.

I do like his comment about the terrorists and their breakfast. God, he is sooooooooo cool. Have I said this already?!!

OP posts:
eejittwo · 27/02/2018 21:43

Really, it's not surprising that Kicki has given up. What does she really have for HER? (or am I being shallow again).
Yay! it's the cornflakes bit.

Rhubarb01 · 27/02/2018 21:43

See, Elvis is breaking the rules. He wouldn't do that if it was anyone else.

eejittwo · 27/02/2018 21:44

Who is that with the head-shake and the 'Roger out'? Is it Jackson? Or Spanner? or Spunky?

Rhubarb01 · 27/02/2018 21:44

Yes, Elvis is cool ilove but he also has that reckless streak. Not sure if that would really be tolerated in SF or not.

Ilovelblue · 27/02/2018 21:44

Poor Zaki - they've brainwashed him. I wonder how he got involved with them all in the first place?

OP posts:
Rhubarb01 · 27/02/2018 21:45

No idea eejit I wasn't really looking.

Ilovelblue · 27/02/2018 21:46

I suppose there is some leeway with the regulations Rhu? When they're out in the field on their own I guess? But yes, he is reckless..... and he eventually gets blown up! How reckless was that! I am still in mourning!

eejittwo · 27/02/2018 21:46

If you think about the history of the SAS ...
David Stirling, who set it up, was definitely a maverick, so Elvis is definitely following in the footsteps ...

Rhubarb01 · 27/02/2018 21:47

Elvis must be delighted to finally spot that Georgie is alive. That is PRIMARY to you Elvis.

Ilovelblue · 27/02/2018 21:47

They carry some nifty bits of kit around with them, don't they, though that microphone doesn't look very sophisticated.

OP posts:
eejittwo · 27/02/2018 21:48

Please don't remind me, ilove.
I love this bit when he gets his first glimpse of Georgie since he left her parents' house at the start of the first episode.

Rhubarb01 · 27/02/2018 21:48

Are you fit? - yes I think you are Elvis.

eejittwo · 27/02/2018 21:49

You fit?
It's been said ..
And how!
