Carla gets the keys to the factory and Aiden rallies the workers.
Simon joins a gang of bad boys who throw a brick and stare menacingly at Carla.
Carla gives Simon an IT job at the factory to keep him out of mischief. Peter is grateful.
MIck (Johnson) from Brookside arrives as Steve's old teacher who always liked LIz and who is now retired and looking for a few cabbie shifts to help fund a refurb of a Spanish Farmhouse (as you do) and gives Liz the gladeye.
Audrey gets mugged. Gail is convinced it is due to the Hillman curse. On the plus side Audrey meets a hospital DJ and they take a shine to one another.
Martin follows David back to Weatherfield where Shona and the children are unhappy about David's plan to emigrate to NZ
Jenny feels Johnny is more interested in the factory than buying a Spanish gaff so puts deposit down on one herself - that's sure to end well.
Moira thinks Liz and Johnny fancy one another.
Seb has a cunning plan to get evidence to bring down Phelan ( the concrete Pat buried the bodies in is such a shoddy job it needs redoing and Seb thinks the gun that killed Luke is in it)and enlists Tim and Gary to help him. What could go wrong? Well, suffice to say Gary gets arrested for the Phelan murders.
Eileen and Pat set off to look at cottages for their big move from the Street. Pat even wants to look as far afield as Ireland. However, Tim warns Eileen about the discoveries made in the concrete. Who will survive in the Eileen/Pat showdown?
So - looks like the end of the big Phelan story - I hope he doesn't get washed over the quayside and the body not found.
