Forget the 50s, have we gone back a decade? Haircuts, makeovers, decent tasks and conversations? Just the shopping list to return...

I want the BB cleaners to come round mine. I'll just have to leave the house for a couple of months so they can make a good start.

Omg Jackie Stallone thinking she was going into the house with the most brilliant minds in the uk and she got Bez and John McCririck. She thought they were going to have a harpist play for them during meals. She was astoundingly weird and wonderful

IndominusRex · 14/01/2018 16:56

Yes it was Alex, Jade, Kate and Jonny series 3 wasn't it? That was a good one.

IndominusRex · 14/01/2018 16:56

My favourite CBB is the original Jack Dee one though.

nicenewdusters · 14/01/2018 17:27

Oh I loved Brackie She was nuts. I hope I morph into her in my old age (minus the face freezing plastic surgery of course).

Lonely Yes, that was the song that Alex mimed to. He's popped up on a few things since. I heard him on a radio show a couple of years ago, talking about his dog. I think he'd split from his girlfriend and they were arguing over custody! The whole thing was strange and so funny, he didn't seem to have changed a bit.

Remember Kinga and the bottle in the garden (runs off to look for brain bleach........) ?

Lonelystarbuckslover · 14/01/2018 17:30

Yep, I remember Kinga!

Pete Burns was another highlight, with his fur coat getting confiscated. I can't remember who he laced into, but that thick Scouse accent, 'I find you morally repugnant'

Does anyone wonder how they would act or be received in the house?

nicenewdusters · 14/01/2018 17:30

Forgotten about Jack Dee being in, he was lovely. Saw him in stand up years ago and laughed so much I felt physically sick. Was that the one with Rula Lenska and George Galloway miming the cat licking the milk? (Empties bottle of brain bleach and runs off for more........)

Chipstick10 · 14/01/2018 17:35

And Craig and Anthony.
And remember Rex and Lisabot and mario, and the one that kept bloody shouting Cookie.

nicenewdusters · 14/01/2018 17:36

Oh Pete and his lips ! He didn't take any prisoners, did he?

I've thought that if I was in the house I'd be very self conscious about the whole changing/washing thing. I'd need a small gazebo to change in, and a Victorian bathing hut to escort me to the shower and hot tub. I'm also very claustrophobic, so when those doors lock and the shutters come down I'd be a gibbering wreck, scratching at the window.

Don't know if any of the above would make good telly? Another HM would probably knock me out with the mangle.

nicenewdusters · 14/01/2018 17:38

Craig and Anthony was a peach. So much unrequited lust. They reminded me of a dirty Ant and Dec.

nicenewdusters · 14/01/2018 17:39

(anyone guessed I'm trying to avoid getting the hoover out and actually doing something?!)

MrsJayy · 14/01/2018 17:48

Craig apparently stalked anthony for a while I will see if i can find the thing i read

mirialis · 14/01/2018 17:57

Who was the guy who was really unpopular (posh, got a lot of boos) who had clearly dyed his red hair black and had his roots starting to show. I seem to remember reading he literally ran off to the other side of the world (i.e. oz) after BB but that must have been years ago?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 14/01/2018 17:58

The Cookie girl thought she was going to win and was whining dramatically "Oh Big Brother don't take away any more of my friends!" shortly before she was evicted in a dressing gown.

I love it when they get evicted in costume.

Pete Burns kept saying his coat was gorilla fur.

The posh one was Tim, also BB3, the year of Alex et al. Always looking in the mirror.

QueenLaBeefah · 14/01/2018 18:02

BB3 was my favourite. Such a good mix of people.

Lonelystarbuckslover · 14/01/2018 18:05

I think I would be okay with the whole washing thing, not in an extrovert way, just I would forget myself. I'm just not fussed.

I think I would be a bit of a mother hen with the tea making and would get stuck in with meal prep. I would cry about missing my family and would be paranoid about not being liked. I would piss the other HMs off with being loud and messy. I would probably develop an unrequited crush on someone who was really really pally with me, but who fancied a younger, prettier housemate and that would do my head in.

Chipstick10 · 14/01/2018 18:09

Anne I remember her saying don’t take my friends away Grin she really thought she was going to win. I loved arrogant Rex and how he handled the dreadful Jen who cried crocodile tears when she said he touched her painting . Think there was an awful gay guy in there who spat at someone . Grossed out. He was told to leave

IhaveChillyToes · 14/01/2018 18:13

Who was it who went into diary room and kept saying

GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Chipstick10 · 14/01/2018 18:16

ChillyToes wasn’t that Tim ? Grin

IhaveChillyToes · 14/01/2018 18:24

Oh yes GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

IhaveChillyToes · 14/01/2018 18:25

Thank you SmileSmileSmileSmile

AnneEyhtMeyer · 14/01/2018 18:40

He also was plucking his ginger chest hairs!

OP posts:
AnneEyhtMeyer · 14/01/2018 18:41

Talking of plucking, I remember being disgusted at Melanie plucking her pubes in the garden in series 1.

OP posts:
mirialis · 14/01/2018 18:43

Yes, me too I remember Melanie with her tweezers in the garden in her bikini! It was the first year and I really don't think they realised just how much the camera was on them 24/7

Just found this when googling Tim.

I don't remember Emma Greenwood bizarrely...

And I think I'd stopped watching by the time of Rex
