Sorry to hear Raaah. My DD also saw a counsellor type person in the hospital when she was chronically constipated. She was only 4 so was very ‘light’ intervention and it worked (along with movicol). At 7 I would think it would all be much more entrenched.

Constipation always seemed like such a trivial thing to me- until I was really ill and ended up in hospital because of it , when I was pg with dd2, ironically. It drained me.

Hopefully, we are on the right road now to her getting better. She's getting to the age where her school friends will notice when she has accidents (which she can't help), and that bothers me. School are finally starting to take it seriously, though. But that's taken years too .

Anyway, enough of my whinging .
