Surely a body has to be embalmed?

Blame, bodies are rarely embalmed. They are stored in low temperatures to delay decay. Embalming is very environmentally unfriendly, I believe.

The last offices are washing the body and brushing the hair. Your loved one is dressed in whatever the family provide, otherwise it's a shroud.
If the body is OK for viewing, then the undertaker will apply make-up to alleviate the waxy look. You can also pay a hairdresser if you like.

Anyway, my late Dad's GP wrote a really lovely letter of condolence to my mum and our family. But they live rurally in a small village, they did get home visits as well.

Blame I don't mind talking about it. Thankfully I have many siblings so I've not had to sort stuff out just by myself.

I've still been watching, finding the storylines very bizarre though.
I've got to ask as well, though everyone's probably fed up of explaining, why's Emma known as 6tl? I'm wondering if it's TL for This Life and maybe she's the sixth Doctors cast member from the other show, but I never watched This Life, so have no idea.

Am also a big Father Brown fan who's really cross that they showed one episode of the new series, or maybe two and then started on repeats again

6TL for sixth time lucky, she had five previous roles/appearances before becoming Emma.

I love Fr Brown as well. I might even have a little crush on him.

I love Father Brown. He says prayers over the victim and then nails the killer all within the space of 45 minutes. Class act.
