I would be surprised if any of the trio of twats would actually "go there" with Courtney/Shane... but it's a fantasy woman in terms of the appearance and being able to say/ask things that they wouldn't go near if they were trying to come on to an actual woman of that appearance. For sure they feel "an attraction" but I would be really surprised if it turned into an actual attraction given that they see Shane at the end of the night when he takes the tape and make up off.

mirialis that's an excellent point. They can't be daft in front of women they might want to actually shag and Shane seems so open minded and isn't so preoccupied with women's rights as a woman could be, they seem to lack concern of offending him.

I can't imagine any women responding to the question of: "why do some women get offended when I open the door for them?" do they?! Really? Don't most Brits just be polite and open the door for everyone/anyone? with "it might seem a bit like it's 'emasculating' them" - I think they like to hear stuff like that and it feels like 'progressive' chat but I literally can't think of any woman (even those who think wolf-whistling is a compliment) who would respond to that question that way.

It is weird the thing the boys have for Courtney. That said, I used to work on the periphery of the showbiz world and it’s amazing how many straight identified guys would have a “thing” with a gay guy. Mostly having a snog/getting a blowjob from them when on the lash/coke. Gay friends told me it happens a lot and my straight flat mate who was in the music production world confessed that he had twice and he said it was a) curiosity to see if it was better/different than with a women and b) it was being offered.
