Pretty pissed of that in the year of the women, there's a warning about offensive language about trans. Agreed about the intensive lobbying behind the scenes by the TG pressure groups. We must remember that this is a cult which takes no prisoners - reputations and careers can and will be shredded. I think that was why Malika nominated as she did.
I imagine they are horrified at the car crash that IW is and there is a lot of manipulating behind the scenes and sadly that is why BOTS is as oddly 'controlled' and lacking in credibility - shame as it used to be fun.

I watched last night with my teenager, who's never watched any BB before. He is a fully signed up trans supporter and has accused me of TERFdom before for questioning some of it. He started off on a line of 'India is a woman not a transwoman' and we discussed what the differences might be. It was a really interesting conversation. I was rather shocked at how few facts he actually knew, even though he talks about trans stuff a lot, and also that he has totally accepted the line that if you question anything, you'll be seen as transphobic and probably cause someone to kill themself. It was quite a worrying talk in some ways but I did manage to put across some arguments to his position that I think shook him slightly.

And he has HFA so tends to be very black and white in his opinions.

I too was disappointed in Malika. I was hoping she would shred India but was a little pathetic actually. And I’m glad Ann called her out for her silly reason.
I kind of want IW to stay as I am enjoying having a character I can’t bear in there - Dapper is waste of energy. I can’t wait til Friday when she hears the public response to her. Let’s see how she is the next few days.

Youcanstay I also watched with my teenager who currently thinks he is bisexual. I am watching him closely to make sure he doesn't suddenly decide that he is also a woman. We had a lot of talks about Shane and how he is so confident to express himself as he likes but that doesn't mean he thinks he is a woman. I was then a bit disappointed that Shane came out with the scale of femininity thing and put India at being 6 on the female scale and himself at a 3. I really think that we need to be opening up the gender boundaries but being clear that sex is distinct and what you are born with and can't be changed. So I disagree with Shane in that respect.

Was interesting to see all the women voting for India for a variety of reasons. IW has been very selfish, self absorbed and aggressive during this CBB. Has not come across well at all nor as someone who is happy with themselves or someone whose mental illness has been sorted by having the surgery.

Jess is a glamour model I think. Nice but dim.

That's a very good point busy. The sexual harassment being committed by IW has probably scared a few men. And the constant haranguing of someone that says they won't have sex with you IS sexual harassment. I wonder if IW behaves like this in his work.
