Did anyone watch it? Couldn't find a thread.

Chilling premise. Too violent for me but will still watch. Thought it was well acted.

Trying to think how I would react if I'd seen what was on the flash drive....

I thought it was good. DH fell asleep so don't know if it will become a Saturday night fixture. I haven't got time to binge the whole lot. I thought the information being presented neatly on a single data stick seemed a bit contrived, but a good story.

Finished the lot over 3 nights. Loved it but I thought the ending was weak. Can’t tell if they’re leaving it open for more.
It was very like Luther in places - same writers I think?

Hit Done to soon. The last episode seemed really detached from the rest. Will be interested to hear what everyone thinks once you have seen them all.
Agree, incredibly violent - I hid behind a cushion for loads of it.

Just finished the final episode. It does get better as it goes along but I'm not sure it's worth spending the time watching. Convoluted storylines and excessive violence spoiled what could have been an interesting story about coping with an 'end of days' situation. And the ending was a complete cop out. I agree there were so many holes and errors that were all too easy to spot, and several plotlines went absolutely nowhere.

I gave up two thirds of the way through episode two. I can't handle the violence, I'm too much of a wimp Sad. Shame as the storyline had me hooked in.

Can't read whole thread as box set means spoilers...seen first two , not sure how much further I'll get. Was hoping for more sci fi and less samey mumbly crime thriller.

Bit jumpy and jerky, and the two leads are too angsty for interest. And mumbly, which means it is ' go on , die!'

Watched first two last night. Loved it but I love spooks etc.
Thought agyness deyn was surprisingly good. She has such a stunning face. I googled her and her name is made up, she was actually born Michelle! She fancied the name agnes but someone thought Agyness was a better stage name.
Surname made up too, according to wiki.

Who would change their name to that unpronounceable combination? How odd.

She's competent,although a bit mumbly at times - but that could be crap sound. Character never smiles so as an ex model she's well qualified for that.

I've not seen the whole series, but it strikes me as odd MI5 are desperate to GET THE FLASH DRIVE, without any thought that whoever had it could have made multiple copies from it and stored the files in multiple locations.

I watched it. Can't make my mind up about it. The premise is good. Not sure about the 'murder of the week' type storytelling. That felt rushed. Some of it made my eyes roll it was so cliched too. I also thought there was unnecessary violence. Not too much exactly, just stuff that didn't advance the plot and was just there to grit it up. But I want to like it, if there's a series 2 I'll watch it, there was just something not quite right about it.

I think it was written by the same guy who wrote Luther an That wasn't my cup of tea so perhaps it's just that,

I was surprised by Agyness Deyn. I didn't know she was an actor too so didn't recognise her at first. I thought she was really good.

This is probably it. Perhaps it would've been better if I hadn't seen the trailer first. That had a full on dystopian sci fi vibe to it.

Me neither colouring! Glad you said because I wasn't sure whether to. Can anyone explain what 'the killer' meant by what he said to him just before? What had he seen??

Finished. Enough plot for two episodes at most. Main premise wasted because so few know about it, but there isn't the budget for crowd disaster scenes.

Ms sold - only a thin coating of sci fi. Rubbish!

Up to episode 5 it's like it doesn't know what it wants to be sci if or procedural police drama. You could forget the World is going to end in five years the main characters seem to have most of the time .

Also think it's far too violent and unnecessarily so violence is not used to bother me but I've had to look away a few times

You mean I’ve been waiting all week for the second episode and I could have watched it on the iplayer Hmm
Friday’s my binge day when dc are all at school and I’m day off work. Will have to wait till next week now.
I enjoyed the first episode and was hoping it would continue to be that good. Maybe not then judging by some of your replies!

and i clocked it was a bit luther like and google confirmed it was written by the same people.
was it the policeman breaking in and making the guy open the safe in episode one?
