I think I might be a really bad person because I laughed so much, mostly at the Frankie Boyle parts but also at Katherine Ryan swearing in a most un-Canadian manner. They're supposed to be so nice.

I'm going to download it to watch at my leisure. Repeatedly.

I watched it and it was absolutely amazing. The 5 minutes riff he did on the Manchester was bombing was dropping especially when he ended it by asking " if Islam is a religion of peace why does everyone who criticizes it end up dead". The courage of the man. The term fearless funny man is banded about a lot but in his case it is true.

Actually that didn't happen. Frankie and friends picked of all the low hanging fruit Trump, Brexit etc. Katherine Ryan proved that nobody hates Trump as much as wealthy white Canadian Liberal. The bit where they hoped enough leave voters had died since the referendum vote for remain to win a second referendum was predictable and unpleasant. Sara Pascoe who normally seems to be a decent person went down a bit in my estimation.

Now would Frankie Boyle talk like that about Islam and if not why not. Now Frankie might say well I'm not a Muslim so to talk about another religion would be offensive. However as far as I'm aware he doesn't have any seriously and that didn't stop him.

It was hit and miss, but one thing that impressed me was having 3 women and 1 man on his panel, given that the other way round would be more usual.

Oh OP my DD goes to a catholic school and it's full of pics of Jesus. I will be sure to tell them that for each pic of Jesus they just have a pic of Mohammed.
However Jesus is mentioned eight times more than Mohammed in the Quran, how do you think we should readdress that balance?

I don't expect anyone on here to have any answers. I don't have twitter and I don't intend getting twitter so I can get blanked by Frankie Fucking Boyle. I just think its interesting what he chose to talk about and what he didn't. My point was it was bien pensant comedy for an echo chamber with swearing.

I watched it because he is quite funny in an unpleasant way although I don't like him very much as you may have guessed. If you didn't watch the show why are you bothering to comment on my views on something you haven't actually watched ?
