Frankie Boyle's review of the year

I think I might be a really bad person because I laughed so much, mostly at the Frankie Boyle parts but also at Katherine Ryan swearing in a most un-Canadian manner. They're supposed to be so nice.

I'm going to download it to watch at my leisure. Repeatedly.

why not I don't know watch the show yourself and make up your own mind. I did I have.

bonfireheart · 31/12/2017 00:43

No because he's tedious as are round ups of the year type programmes.
Think I'll go watch the Crown instead. But there's no Islamic terrorism in that either :/

lessworriedaboutthecat · 31/12/2017 00:43

Unlike 2017

bonfireheart · 31/12/2017 00:48

That's true.
Maybe I'll go watch Four Lions instead to ensure balance in the universe.

His writing is quite funny but his delivery was auto-cue bad. And Sara Pascoe seemed miserable.

The data girl was great and looked amazing.

Everyone else was just phoning it in. I reckon me a my mates could have put that on.

lessworriedaboutthecat · 31/12/2017 00:56

I thought the data girl was the only person on it that came across well. Me and my mates could also have put it on. Same accent an awrat no

passemoilevin · 31/12/2017 01:52

Loved it! Sara Pascoe was boring as fuck. What's the point of her?

weetabix07 · 31/12/2017 02:30

He's really toned his act down these days. He used to be far more 'edgy' if that's the right word.

leccybill · 31/12/2017 02:44

I thought Katherine Ryan was dying of a heavy cold.
Enjoyed the political bit about Jacob Rees-Mogg.

DontDrinkDontSmoke · 06/01/2018 21:36

Kath Ryan is going for it with the Botox.

Frankie Boyle is a lefty lovie. His RL accent/voice/language is much more on the posh side.

bonfireheart · 07/01/2018 01:51

Despite the Botox, I nearly fell off my chair when I found out she's younger than me!

leccybill · 07/01/2018 11:15

I know she's everywhere at the moment but I saw her on Live at the Appollo last night and I thought she was really genuinely funny and sharp. I don't normally like female comedians.

DontDrinkDontSmoke · 07/01/2018 14:47

I’ve been to a smallish live gig of hers, it was brilliant.
