I think AB relationship is rather "put on" for cameras rather than them being friends

I think the way they are together compared to others like Susan and Kevin or Mollie and AJ (obviously if they are having rumpy pumpy that is different) or Ruth and Anton or Debbie and Giovanni

Those couples seem to have real natural funfunfun and laughs together in training and on ITT but AB and Gorka seems forced like "look at us I am hanging on to him and we are a dance couple"

Don’t know chillytoes, but have a look at some of Gorka’s stories on Instagram when he posts them. They do look like they get on.

Also someone further ipthread went to the show and described Gorka and Alex as intimate, he was stroking her face and shoulders a lot apparently.

I am just meaning when they are not "on camera" sort of in the background on Saturday or in background on ITT when they go to the audience to talk to someone and they are watching but not really being filmed

Just by watching the body language when they are in background

When watching TV I quite often look at what is going on behind the person being interviewed

Like when the interviews are in make up chair on back stage stuff I look at background stuff going on behind the person talking

They are on ITT tonight so will see if she is hanging on to him in a natural or false way and what his eyes are saying

Just watching him with Zoë much more natural IMHO

Ah, the gorgeous Erin. I do miss her. Perhaps she, Karen Hardy and Steph McGovern could host the Oti Mabuse Weekly Extravaganza of Oti-ness where Oti partners a different pro or celeb dancer/group of dancers each week and we get to vote on who most deserves her. If we need gender balance I wouldn't mind Craig coming along for the journey dahling, and I'm secretly rather attached to Brendan so he's invited too. Oh, and the Man In the Hat.

The rhumba won’t be Mollie’s dance at all, she’s already quite stiff and wooden that she won’t be able to produce the lovely lines, contrast, light and dark that rhumba needs.

I think this week is probably going to be her downfall and she will be out

Groucho, it’s been changed to “Hopelessly devoted” from Grease. Definitely more fitting than the sad “I dreamed”.

I think the quickstep will suit Gemma - looking forward to that - and a lovely, crowd-pleasing tune for those of us of a certain age. I'm not sure about Alexandra and the Charleston, but we'll see - the Charleston very seldom does it for me, and the only ones I've really enjoyed have been by the smaller, more compact dancers. There's something about the dance that makes the taller, more stately and elegant people look a bit ridiculous IMO.

Still, I also can't see a decent rumba to Hopelessly Devoted. I'm trying to imagine all the hip waggling (technical term) with the lyrics and it's very incongruous. Maybe they'll surprise me.

I’ve just wa5ched last nights ITT and loved Zoe’s face as Erin was telling her to press her thigh against Gorka’s! It’s one thing that you just don’t realise until you try to dance Ballroom - there’s a heck of a lot more body contact with your partner than in the Latin dances!

I think Alexandra's Charleston will be all legs and joints, like a foal when it tries to stand up. The judges will love it though and turn a blind eye to her sloppy footwork.

I fear for Mollie with a rumba, whichever song it's to (and I LOVE Hopelessly Devoted).

I fear for Davood too with an AT to that pile of turgidness.

Gemma may do very well; her Charleston was good and I think the sportiness of the quickstep will suit her. Great song too.

Debbie's song and dance combo sounds a bit dreary but, again, the judges will love it. Voting public might not be so impressed though.

Anyone musical on here who can say whether it's humanly possible to arrange Money Money for a samba? I can't imagine it. Having said that, Katya is a genius and the bouncy dances suit Joe, so he might be OK.
