What would you do to improve Eastenders?

Get rid of Tanya, Ian, Jane, that doofus who is going blind and his son and have Joe give Dot a good slap.

I like the Tanya/Stacey storyline.
I would get rid of 'extras' who have no storylines like Garry, Minty, the lesbian, Gus, Charlie and Mo. I think a lot more needs to be made of Sean (Stacey's brother) - why does he keep disappearing on holiday? Is he doing a panto

Stop all the affairs they have.After they are found out the mistress and wife burry the hatchet and get along ( Pat and shop woman and Pat and Peggy).Life is not like that. Teenagers watch this and it makes out these things are ok.

Cover teenage topics like dyslexia and other SN in a postive way.

Let there be happy endings and belivable story lines. The bald ginger max would never pull that off in real life.

Drop a bomb on Albert Square, and axe it to be replaced with something decent.

Theres too many problemss at the moment, I can't think of one family that hasn't got a problem.

Yes it needs some happy bannter and frivololity thrown into the mix.

Bring back Grant!! I love it when he is in it. Plus when are they gonna end the Max/Stacey affair, whenever they are smooching on the the screen i just wanna rip my arm off and throw it at the telly!

Where to start? I've watched it for years but recently given up on it as it is now totally rubbish.

1. Max & Stacey is nonsense;
2. Stella the nutter is a hopeless story line - not even vaguely gripping, probably because Ben is such an awful actor nobody cares about him;
3. Is Carly's dad still in it, whatever his name is? He is a lump of wood;
4. There are too many characters who are pointless - Gary, Minty, thingy at the shop and her husband, Charlie & Mo, that slobby bloke who doesn't work, aforementioned Carly's dad + Carly + Carly's brother + her mother if she's still in it;
5. The storylines are never original - oh look, someone's having an affair! Someone's having a baby and they don't know who the dad is! Oh look Phil and Ian hate each other and Phil is going to beat up Ian. Rubbish!!

You need decent characters and proper actors and real scriptwriters - not too many problems with it then!!!
