Oops, my fault for not reading the Tweet properly!

Been trying to find Jonnie and Oti on It Takes Two; I'm interested to see just how bothered he was about being in the dance-off. But I can't find them on this Tuesday's show, which is when the saved couple normally appear, no?

Boo moo. I have missed ITT the last couple of days. How have you rated Gethin in comparison with Zoe? has he been good? I have been watching French strictly this afternoon, I caught a guy Loic somebody and thought he was the pro, turns out he was the sleb who won that year. Also caught Anton on LW from Tuesday - such a lovely interview. I don't care about his Latin prowess, I would choose to have him for the simple fact that he would want me to enjoy myself first and foremost. I hope he returns next year.

I had a dream last night they'd replaced Blackpool with 'the worst of the worst' special. Rev Richard Coles was dancing a can can in black & silver spangly leotard with those thick grey tights they used to make you wear at school.

I will never understand why they dont hold the final in Blackpool. Most of the celeb dancers have competed there and its obviously very well liked- the show dance would have more scope ( as its a bigger dance floor) and it would make it a bit different. They must have their reasons i suppose, but it would make for a better final I think.
Worst of the worst special sounds a brilliant idea - they could bring back Ann Widdicombe and Nancy as well as the Rev and Ed Balls. Would be very entertaining/

I would rate Gethin an 8 he was good, (seemed a bit frightened of dancing with Ian, bless him!) Perhaps he finds those backstage interviews, he does usually, stressful.

I would guess that they don't need the space at Blackpool for the final. Apart from for the pro group dances of course. Maybe it's just too expensive to 'set up' televisually twice.! They do seem to spend sooo much money on sets \scenery lighting etc., unnecessarily IMO!

I'm pretty sure that's what he'll come on in when they do the 'remember them?' section in the final.

Re Blackpool and final, maybe it's too much hassle to cart everyone and everything up there again? And it's not, oddly, a really great venue for Strictly IMO. They have to work really hard to fill the space with big props, extra dancers etc. It's OK for a one-off every series, but wouldn't feel right for a final I don't think.

On Jonnie, I watched his jive again the other day and it was SO good. He's definitely gone backwards. What's happening?

I watched Gethin and Ian on ITT and I thought there was a hint of homophobia in it, TBH. Lots of comedy shocked faces at the idea of touching him. Otherwise, Gethin was quite good. He's hotter now than when he was on the main show I think.

Well if Gethin isn't gay and Ian fancies him, (which Ian seemed to imply) why should he be pleased? The same if he was a girl with a guy who had the hots for her.

That video of Anton on LW made me smile. I'm now trying to think of it as hard as I can to blot out the rather disturbing image conjured up by iklboo.

Someone upthread said that the endlessly gorgeous and much missed Erin was on ITT this week. Which day was it?

Does anyone know any of the backstory about Hayley being replaced on last week's episode? And whether she'll be back this week? I don't usually take much notice of the singers, but I thought she was really good in her starring role in Ruth and Anton's paso and Tess should have made sure she got her own round of applause afterwards so I missed her last week.

I didn't pick up on an implication of Ian fancying Gethin. And even if it was there, the professional thing to do is just to carry on and do the piece, not make faces. As he probably would have done if he was being flirted with by a woman.

mornington, I agree Hayley should have been properly acknowledged for that awesome performance. Going by her Twitter she was ill last week, but she doesn't say what was/is wrong.
