I think it will be Jonnie and Molly in the DO, and Jonnie to go. I can't believe they are bring back Dancing on Ice, they cancelled it because the viewing figures were so low.

morningtoncrescent62 · 12/11/2017 15:04

Just caught up - love a bit of Strictly on a Sunday afternoon. I enjoyed seeing the Man In the Hat waving merrily. I'm convinced he's reading Monkseal and knows he has a following. But Hayley seemed to be missing after her solo number last week. Did she over-strain her voice with those high notes? Or do they always swap the singers and I've just never noticed before?

Bottom marks for faffing abaht go to Ruth and Anton (that stuff with the canes was such a mistake as you have to be perfectly together for it to work - they should have gone straight into hold) and the nonsense with the opticians that I couldn't work out from Debbie and Joe Varney. I enjoyed Davood's charleston which makes the second week running I've liked a charleston, whereas they normally leave me a bit meh. No really stand-out dances for me though, and I agree with pp that the scoring did seem all over the place.

I think Jonnie will have an especially hard time next week with the bouncy floor in Blackpool

With luck he won't get there at all

SchadenfreudePersonified · 12/11/2017 15:55

Thank you for the clip Sassy

TheSassyAssassin · 12/11/2017 16:01

Definitely my pleasure! Haven't seen it in ages. Always makes me Smile

RhiannonOHara · 12/11/2017 16:04

I need to confess that I had a sex dream about Jonnie last night so now feel all funny in my tummy when I read about him on here. Grin

TheSassyAssassin · 12/11/2017 17:20

Oooh....cannot resist....did you give him 1 Rhiannon??? GrinGlitterball

RhiannonOHara · 12/11/2017 17:35
Grin

I say sex dream, but I don't remember any actual hanky-panky; it was more about how much we loved each other, how amazed we were to have met, etc. The emotions were very very strong, dizzying actually. Blush

I often have this kind of dream. I must regress to being a teenager in my dream life. Confused

Inkanta · 12/11/2017 17:45

I'm thinking maybe Jonnie is in pain and that it doesn't get easier for him the more weeks he stays in. Getting harder.

Lol at the dream though! Wink

TheSassyAssassin · 12/11/2017 17:53

Well if he stays in this eve we'll all know who has been voting for him now won't we? Grin

amberleo · 12/11/2017 17:56

Ruth needs to go. She's only still here because of her large audience.

AristonAndOn · 12/11/2017 18:12

Could anyone help, been trying to find out how to vote online and it tells me how and just doesn’t work. Tried looking for the phone numbers and can’t find them either. Does no where I can find the numbers please?

FuzzyCustard · 12/11/2017 18:16

I missed most of last night's programme (looking after grandsprog) so am signing in for the results tonight.
Did you miss my complete lack of knowledge opinions?

BalloonSlayer · 12/11/2017 18:23

Ariston you can only vote for about an hour directly after the Saturday night programme. They start recording the "pretend live Sunday night results show" at about 9pm on Saturday so all votes have to be done by then.

BalloonSlayer · 12/11/2017 18:29

Ooh and onlylivingboy thank you for going to the bother of finding out the fees for me. Flowers

I was wondering whether sometimes, certain celebrity contestants such as, say, just picking a name out of the air like, Johnny, might have budgeted both tax-wise and time-wise to only be in the programme up to a certain point. Eg "well I'll do this but I am not likely to be the greatest and probably won't get to the final, so that's £40,000 in the bank with me tied up to the middle of November and then I'll get my agent to book me a load of lucrative after dinner speeches during the busy time in the run up to Christmas, won't be a problem as my Saturday nights will be freed up by then," sort of thing.

TheSassyAssassin · 12/11/2017 18:35

Welcome back Fuzzy! Course we did GrinGlitterball

CremeFresh · 12/11/2017 18:38

Did anyone else think Davood made a few mistakes ? I was expecting him to be slated but the judges loved it.

AristonAndOn · 12/11/2017 18:52

Thanks balloon! I didn’t know that 🙄

Redcrayons · 12/11/2017 19:23

Here we go.

Blackandpurple · 12/11/2017 19:24

Jeez im not getting this 500 miles song/dance.

Surely they could have chosen better?

sweetbitter · 12/11/2017 19:24

Not my favourite pro dance, nice sentiment and interesting ideas but it didn't add up to a whole lot for me...

Dolly80 · 12/11/2017 19:24

That was beautiful

FuzzyCustard · 12/11/2017 19:25

My dress vote goes to Claud not Tess.

dementedma · 12/11/2017 19:25

Clever use of te treadmills

thenightsky · 12/11/2017 19:26

Wonderful to be able to watch a prof dance without the audience whooping and cheering over the music.
