I love it. I especially love the moments when Sue and Axl bond. Anyone else a fan?

We love modern family as well but it has got silly over the last two series. I’m watching it out of loyalty now.

Has any tried ‘life in pieces’ I’m enjoying the so far.

Coconutspongexo · 14/11/2017 09:10

Love Life in Pieces - only discovered it about two weeks ago, really like it!

MrsJayy · 14/11/2017 09:14

Oh me and Dd1 love this Dd2 is a bit Sue bless her Grin , we started watching the same time as Modern Family the Middle has been consistantly good MF meh not somuch.

Wishfulmakeupping · 14/11/2017 09:18

Don't want it to be the final season feels like it could go on- maybe the actors are ready for it to end though. It's one of mine and dh's favourites and we don't agree on much telly wise but both love the middle

VodkaPenne · 14/11/2017 09:19

I Really disliked Modern Family. I tried three episodes... three episodes too many. It was boring.

I want Sue to end up with Sean. Soon! Darren was too unintelligent for her. She needs the fairytale! I’d like Lexie and Axl too. But no weddings - they are too young!

Axl and Lexie going off to travel and start up a business would be great.

Is a lottery win like Roseanne too cliched? Yes, I think so sadly. Maybe just a job promotion?

I would like the dining room re papered though before the end of the season! That would soothe my spirits.

The continuity team really are excellent, aren’t they? They get stuff right for flashbacks.

MrsJayy · 14/11/2017 09:20

I would like to see Brick leave school maybe they will do a Fast foward into the future finale

Coconutspongexo · 14/11/2017 09:31

Yeah I don’t want weddings either considering Axl has already had a failed marriage.

Floralnomad · 14/11/2017 10:04

I don’t necessarily want weddings , just that they are together .

NancyDonahue · 14/11/2017 11:53

I'd like Mike to win/gain enough money to buy back the diaper business. The episode where he sells it to fund Sue's college shows what absolute heart this show has. When he said to Frankie, after she said he loved the diaper business, 'It's Sue' I sobbed! That heart is what's missing from Modern Family.

Brick can do better than Cindy. The Cindy in the Halloween episode was friendly.. and shorter! I think he marries someone else called Cindy.

Whispers... Cindy Wink

MrsJayy · 14/11/2017 12:33

I howled when Mike sold his business for Sue Blush tbf i was pre menstrual but I thought it was a lovely episode.

VodkaPenne · 14/11/2017 12:57

@NancyDonahue 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

I want your username!!!!!

My favourite Nancy moment is when she pushes Frankie into the pool.

pollyhampton · 14/11/2017 13:17

My favourite Nancy moment is when she thinks the Hecks have been burgled and they have to drive back from holiday and pretend the mess is from the burgulars.

Also when Axl is nice to Sue!

Andylion · 14/11/2017 17:36

NancyDonahue, you have nailed it. The difference between MF and The Middle is heart. I used to really like MF, but the humour is all sarcastic. They have become a family of unlikeable people.

Floralnomad · 14/11/2017 17:49

You have hit the nail on the head there andy

MrsJayy · 14/11/2017 17:54

Yes the Mf lot have become unlikeable I used to think it was really funny I have not watched it since Cam and Mitchels wedding Clare said something nasty it has become bitter.

Redcrayons · 14/11/2017 18:24

MIke selling the diaper business for Sue was just so lovely. When Brad came out to Sue I had a tear in my eye as well.

I loved Mod Famil for years but the last 2 seasons have been terrible. I've watched a couple of the current season, and it's just not funny anymore. They haven't aged the kids well and the adults are becoming caricatures.

SueSueDonahue · 14/11/2017 18:25

I rewatched the sinkhole earlier.

There really aren’t any duff episodes at all!

NancyDonahue · 14/11/2017 18:52

The Mother's day episode where they compare Mother's day to Father's day is brilliant.

It's all brilliant. They feel like my friends. I'll miss it so much Sad.

TheZeppo · 14/11/2017 19:46

Whoever mentioned continuity is spot on- they feel like a real family, and their past matters 😊

Weird Ashley and Brick! Solved it 😂

I could see Mike’s father dying and them inheriting a decent but not ridiculous sum of money from him. He’s a reclusive hoarder, those types often turn out to have a lot of money squirrelled away because they never spend any. That would be far more realistic than them winning millions on the lottery.

NancyDonahue · 14/11/2017 20:04

Nooo not Big Mike Sad. I don't want anyone to die.

Maybe they'll strike oil in the back yard.
Or find out that Great Aunt Edie/Ginny had a long forgotten fortune.

MrsJayy · 14/11/2017 20:15

I think I missed Brads coming out ? not that it was a surprise

SueSueDonahue · 14/11/2017 20:52

Brad coming out was the sweetest moment. One of my absolute favourite moments.

MrsJayy · 14/11/2017 20:59

Which episode was it ?

Redcrayons · 14/11/2017 21:17

It was in one of the ones when Sue first went to college. Maybe the last series? Before she met Lexie. The whole episode was funny as he was pretending to be her boyfriend. The coming out bit is so lovely.
