Modern Family whats with all the cosmetic surgery?

The women look completely different from when it started its such a shame Claire is looking more like Joan Rivers why do they do it?

I am so clueless, I didn't realize Julie Bowen had plastic surgery, I thought she lost too much weight.

I didn't enjoy it as much this season or last.
My fav episode was the first, when Cam instoduced Lily via the Lion King. Cam and Lily are my favorites.

I always thought that Claire looked like a rl version of Lola from Charlie and Lola, all grown up

Alex has obviously had her lips done. I only just noticed was it halfway through the season she did it? How many 19 year old college students can do that?

I mentioned that up there. Looks totally incongruous, doesn't it? As if Alex would ever do that! (I know it's not real ).

Its true though and, like the soaps, why dont they ever proper go away and maje something of themselves? Why would she be so easily talked out of an internship i was desperate for hee to go out of it for abit!

Well, yes, but if they did go off and make something of themselves, they'd be out of the show!

I love MF but I think it's definitely peaked and is on the way out. Sofia Vergara has had a weird semi American accent going on the last two seasons which grates a bit (her normal strong accent is so fitting to the character) and Julie Bowen has definitely overdone it on the surgery this current season. I think they're turning Phil into a bit of a caricature of himself too - he's always been supremely silly which is part of his charm but sometimes now he's actually just ridiculous.

Mitch, Cam and Lily are my favourites.

I think next season could be the last. I don't know how they're going to continue with all the kids growing up now. They should stop while it's still ok.

I'm sure I read that the producers have said season 10 will be the last. I wonder what the actors will do next. It'll be like the cast of Friends, they'll find it very hard to ever move away from those characters I think.

I imagine Cam will be ok as he was quite well established before and Mitch does stage. The others im not sure about.

Ed O'Neill managed to move away from Al Bundy. I never watched Married With Children, but I know AB was almost a cult character.

I can't see Sofia Vergara fading away either.

I think Sarah Hyland who plays Hayley is actually a very good comic actress and I could see her getting a lead role in another show after MF ends.

Ariel Winter (Alex) is talented too but currently seems to be most interested in posting scantily-clad shots of herself on Instagram!

I can't watch Claire anymore - the overacting, the cosmetic surgery, I thinks its a shame that she moved from this very relate-able character to a total caricature. I think the Mitch and Cam and Jay and Gloria families aged well and all the kids seemed to move with the show but Claire and to a lesser extent Gloria have kind of ruined it for me.
