The women look completely different from when it started its such a shame Claire is looking more like Joan Rivers why do they do it?

Claire has recently got divorced, that's not going to help her age well. Maybe it was a reaction to that but she would look much better without.

EachandEveryone · 01/04/2018 05:07

I doubt it she’s looked like that for Afew years now. And Gloria is nearly as bad.

I’m enjoying Life in Pieces so much more.

I get really distracted by Julie Bowen's left eye which she can barely open in some scenes. Pp got it right - she's morphing into Joan Rivers.

Also distracted by Ariel Winter's obvious lip fillers in the last episode I watched.

Oblomov18 · 01/04/2018 09:35

Agreed. Such a Shame.

Dh and I can't watch it anymore because we just don't find it funny anymore. It's just cringe.

NapQueen · 01/04/2018 09:36

The whole series has become quite a let down.

Oblomov18 · 01/04/2018 09:41

Mind you, doing a high profile series for years. Plus having 3 ds's, plus getting divorced this year, after 13 years of marriage, 😢 so maybe we need to cut her a bit of slack.

EachandEveryone · 01/04/2018 09:57

Has anyone seen Life in Pieces? Its much better and more realistic.

Did you see Roseanne is back? I wonder when it will be shown in the uk?

Life In Pieces is OK...in pieces Wink. I do feel they rehash some Modern Family storylines (and the doctor son-in-law who desperately wants the approval of his FIL is just Phil and Jay by any other name). Also the Diane Wiest character gets right on my nerves, and I don't love any of them the way I love Cam, Gloria and Jay. Apart from that, it's OK Grin.

EachandEveryone · 01/04/2018 10:13

Oh i love the son who is good looking and i fancy the old man whos married to Barbra Streisand. And i adore Jen. Did you see the prom one?

OP posts:
MargotLovedTom1 · 01/04/2018 10:19

I've watched them all but can't remember the prom. Agree the dad, John, is very handsome (and the most fanciable of the lot!). Having a complete hungover brain fart this morning and can't remember his real name either.

I like the youngest daughter (Lily-lite Wink).

Pauperlil · 01/04/2018 10:22

**May i suggest you all watch Life in Pieces on Amazon Prime? So much better.

Yes to this! It's like a better version of Modern family

EachandEveryone · 01/04/2018 10:24

I know!

GinandGingerBeer · 01/04/2018 10:25

Love a bit of modern family but it’s nowhere near as funny as it used to be. I guess script writers move on to other things.
In case anyone has ever wondered what I look like by the way, I look just like Gloria.
You know just so you can picture me if you see my posts on MN 😉

MargotLovedTom1 · 01/04/2018 10:29

Ooh we must be twins Gin Grin.

QueenOfTheAndals · 01/04/2018 11:45

I like Life in Pieces but occasionally get distracted by how much like his dad Colin Hanks is!

Faultymain5 · 02/04/2018 06:23

I used to love modern family. If I see the wedding again I always cry. Always. But unfortunately it has been going downhill the last two seasons.

Find it strange how okay everyone is with the sex life of the children in the Dunphy household. I mean Dillon practically lived there whilst Alex and Luke were still in high school.

Still love, love, love Phil though. I would be so happy to be married to someone like that - I think.

However, Life in peices is where it's at right right now. There was a recent episode with the family tree where I laughed so hard I choked.

EachandEveryone · 02/04/2018 09:30

This week were they are all about Lark was very good.

cushioncovers · 02/04/2018 09:44

Love life in pieces.

Faultymain5 · 02/04/2018 10:10

Oh and Jen is my favourite.

Flomper · 02/04/2018 12:20

I much prefer modern family to Life in Pieces, still. You're right though, they are over doing the sex stuff a bit.

QueenOfTheAndals · 02/04/2018 14:37

Agree @Flomper. It was funny when Manny was 8, now he's 18 he seems like a bit of a sex pest!

Serena1985 · 02/04/2018 14:47

Are you paid to promote Life in Pieces or something?! Grin

MargotLovedTom1 · 02/04/2018 16:12

Luke was always the sex pest; imo Manny was quite respectful and saw himself as more refined and critical of Luke's over eager approach.
The latest one was a bit bizarre with 6yr old Joe having a crush on his 40 something half-sister Claire Confused.

cushioncovers · 02/04/2018 21:29

I agree the crush on Claire was a bit weird and has been done before with manny and Hayley

EachandEveryone · 10/04/2018 01:18

Yes hes aged a who,e year as well. Cute though.
