Why did Laurel ask Chas what it was like to go out with someone she'd been friends with previously? She asked whether it felt weird etc. But she's already done that herself with marlon!! Script writers forgotten that already?

Because Donny, it's to convey the dastardliness of the characters who were in the dark Both Chrissie and Robert are up to something which I may or may not have a clue about

Is anyone else irrationally annoyed by that speeding 4x4 in the opening titles swerving around the corner every single day ?

I think they have forgotten all about Laurel and Marlon. How else can you explain her calling her baby Dottie, when that was the name of his dog that she killed whilst drunk driving!

I have a strange love/hate thing with Laurel.

She's amazing when she gets a decent storyline, going back to when Daniel died she should have got numerous awards for that alone, she was brilliant with Ashley and his dementia, there are loads more but I can't think of them now.

But when she's back to drippy Laurel I can't stand her, that whole Marlon story nearly put me off emmerdale for good and now this nonsense with Bob is threatening to do the same again. Anyway it won't be long before she gives the game away with the way she is carrying on.

Talking of dogs, is Cheryl the dog still around.

Bowels seem to have been a theme this week I think they are showing us that as Jai's relationships with women are disastrous, he will now be sticking to dogs That one has a problem with 'accidents' too..This will probably culminate in Moira needing fertilizer for the farm, and Charity, Priya, Tip the dog and whoever else being only too happy to oblige

Yes I actually was really disgusted last night when Debbie said about charity “taking a dump” on the living room floor. It was about 7.10. Seriously. People are eating their dinner at that time. My 8 year old was sitting beside me on the sofa. I think that whole thing was revolting. A real low point for emmerdale.

Btw- yes my 8 year old has heard about pooing before. I’m trying to get him to stop talking about it. Emmerdale did not help last night!

It does seem to be the only soap where people mention going to the loo, so maybe a slight extension of that ? And obviously the Dingles must always be thinking of new ways of 'dealing' with enemies. To keep their 'rep' up to date It's nice though that your son wants to watch it with you.

I’m really into the Whites exit story. I read a spoiler a few months ago about it but it was only a rumour. I really hope they don’t go through with it but with the way things are looking I think they will.
