Sorry, last post should've said can someone fill me in on what happened in last nights episode please.

We found out Tom is behind the golf course development. Zac is adamant he doesn’t want to sell the farm but Lisa is tempted now that her and Zac have been offered an extra £50K.

Thank you southeast I'm curious to know what his issue is with the Dingles and Debbie in particular.

I reckon it’s something to do with charity. Tom’s parents died when he was young and he was left the family business. He went through that whole charade making Graham pretend to be him when charity tried to meet him. He doesn’t want to meet Debbie’s family. I think the poster upthread who suggested he is Joseph Tate is right. He seems to be eyeing up Home farm too which would be right as that was Chris Tate’s. The only thing that makes me question is 1) the man who killed Joseph’s mother was called Graham. Would emmerdale really have Joseph Tate employing a man called Graham? And 2) Joseph is only 22 and Tom seems older.

Oh I knew I was right about Tom being behind the golf course. I need a gloating face .

I still think it looks as if Tom may well be Joseph Tate but you are right that he doesn't look 22, more mid to let 20's. When does a simple thing like that stop Emmerdale though.

I think that comment tonight where Tom just called Charity 'Mum' sarcastically has swayed me toward him being Joseph Tate.

Although he should/would have a Kiwi accent wouldn't he? Although I dare say they could write around that.

What on earth has Tom done to his hair - what a ridiculous bouffant/quiff!! I have nothing to add to the speculation as to his true identity as I didn't really watch it in the Tate days

I don't think they'd bother about that. It would be a way of messing without any actual relations being involved.

It makes more sense than it being Cameron's son I think. Debbie knew them, and there was never mention of them being the same age as her.

Hopefully he is someone. If he is just the golf course guy then it's been a complete waste imo.

If Tom is Joseph he would not be related to Debbie , they have different parents.

Also Lisa and Zack can't buy that house. It's too normal and ordinary. Everyone has really awful houses on Emmerdale. Aaron house had so much potential but it's horrible inside. Zak's current house looks like the inside of a cave. And the Barton's living space is so small n cluttered. Home Farm could go with some interior design too - especially as ceilings now have holes in them. Their cleaner obviously not dusting up high if she hasn't noticed them!

Has Rebecca and baby totally left now? If so, how is the baby going to be shown to be actually Ross's? (if it is obv)

Rebecca has been "in love" with Robert and stuck with all the crap he's put her through - cheating on her with her sister, pressurising her into an abortion, marrying her sister, cheating on his husband, pressurising her to have another abortion so so many awful things and she's still been soppy over him. Then he cheats them out of shares and that's when she decides to leave.

How did Aaron find out Liv had texted Alex? Gerry nicked his phone and then next scene they are being made to clean the pub's loos as punishment

Lovely I think Liv admitted it in the kitchen when Aaron came home to find Alex sitting there

I remember that bit, wasn't that after she had lied about her ankle and Aaron stormed off? I may be getting confused

Liv pretended to hurt her leg but then admitted she did it so he'd contact Alex. Gerry found his phone which they used to text and invite Alex over. When Aaron saw Alex the truth came out that it was Liv texting pretending to be Aaron.
Poor Alex - such an obvious plot device for Robron. Run Dr, as far away as you can.

Wonder if Paddy will give the stray dog that Jai and Frank were fighting over to Zak?

Alfie is the only animal that the trio of vets have actually laid hands on - Rhona and Vanessa are in the Woolpack or school and Paddy spends his time with Chas or Marlon.
I don't know how they manage to turn a profit?

YY of course Tip (the dog) will end up with Zak , she'll be much happier there than having Jai carry her everywhere.

This nonsense about the school play is beyond ridiculous - doesn't sound like any school I've ever worked in. The head being on first name terms with parents and popping into the village pub and a parent being in charge of the entire school play

I don’t understand about the funding and admin for a TA. Are they funding for a year - about £17k? How does it work with the local authority?
