Ooh arrr! wibbly
Kazza I was similarly sceptical about the change of clothing, however, on second viewing I did notice that when Georgie left the village she was carrying her fully packed Bergen so it appears that they did take their kit with them when they set off after the kids. I suppose she would have carried at least one change of civilian clothing - must have been a non-iron cotton shirt though. Most stuff you take out of a rucksack looks like it's been vacuum packed.
I have to say that I have enjoyed the use of authentic locations. It looks stunning from that point of view.
As for Milan, yes, I have wondered if he will truly be all he seems. He is so 'good', for want of a better word, that you feel suspicious. What a dreadful world we live in, though, to doubt it. I tend to think he's just there to cause the friction and I might be somewhat technology challenged but why, when Maisie called Georgie, could she see her and Milan in bed? Why didn't it just ring like a phone? Was it not a normal phone call? I'm sure someone can put me right on that.
I think it's been mentioned in cast interviews that Elvis and Maisie have a bit of a 'past' - can't say I blame him for not hanging around being all chaste and loyal for Georgie but goodness he didn't 'alf pick a woman with a big gob! I wouldn't rely on her for her discretion.
