Anyone watching this? Two episodes in and I'm not sure if I like it or not. Some fantastically scary scenes but the scenes with the four baddies are bizarre! Can't quite acclimatise myself to the London accents in Canada. And then there's Owen from Coronation Street!

There is supposedly going to be a series 2. I hope so. I thought it was so good and gripping. Tim Roth never fails to deliver and the Whitey character was also good. I think the next series will focus on Elizabeth at the helm of North Shore and the discovery of the body of the evil security boss. He reminded me of a baddie from a James Bond film.

mydogisthebest · 18/09/2017 09:39

I think Whitey as a young boy was filing out fake pedigrees for the puppies.

I get that a young boy could change a bit in 10 years but I can't believe the name Whitey didn't ring a bell at all. Even if not straight away you would think it would eventually dawn on him. I did find that a bit annoying

Toyboysrus · 18/09/2017 15:39

I am clear on the puppy farm business now, thanks. I still think somebody should have saved the puppies though. I hope there is a series two, Jim/Jack may not be dead!

Keel · 18/09/2017 15:50

I think he'll be dead. There was a scene where Annabthe girl was learning how to shoot and she was a dead shot by the end.

cushioncovers · 18/09/2017 16:55

Oh buggar forgot this had started. Where can I watch it please?

Keel · 18/09/2017 16:59

All episodes are on Sky Atlantic cushioncovers. Well worth watching. I found it much better than Fortitude.

cushioncovers · 18/09/2017 17:43

Thank you

DressedCrab · 18/09/2017 17:45

A second series has been commissioned.

Oblomov17 · 18/09/2017 20:07

I'm a bit confused. Watched quite a few episodes and have just seen Witney with his photograph. But how come Jack hasn't twigged.

OhWellNeverMindEh · 24/09/2017 21:56

Would anybody mind p'ming me the whole plot, I'm too much of a coward to watch it all, just finished episode 2 and I know I won't be able to cope with the rest.

I just need to know who that young lad is and why they're after Jack?

Thanks!

Please can someone tell me what Tim Roth says to violent husband of caravan woman after he's beaten him up and is about to shoot him. Tim Roth says something to him and the bloke then knows he's an undercover cop. I've played it back three times and I can't work out what he says to him. It's really bugging me. Thanks.

flissfloss65 · 03/10/2017 10:56

Found this really gripping but so glad it's finished. I feel like my emotions have been through the mill, from sympathy to hatred of characters. They are all so flawed and ironically in the end I felt so much sympathy for Whitey and hatred for Tim Ruth's character.

Agoddessonamountaintop · 06/10/2017 23:36

Bit late to the parth buf I've just finished this and can tell you doings that Jack says 'shall I take one for the force then?' when Big Bad Guy is about to shoot him. We had subtitles on by then. Grin
But what a load of tosh. I stuck with it because Tim Roth is so watchable and I stupidly thiught there might be a decent resolution. But the last two episodes were beyond preposterous.
Why did they have to hide the security guy's body? Don't they have the self-defence erm defence in Canada? He'd come to kill them ffs!
And that thing where TR grabs and kisses the women when they start to object to his behaviour, so they melt and either have a good old shag or let him do whatever mad thing he's swerving off to do next. Truly awful.

Too many spoilers on this
