Let me know when you've seen tonight's

youngestisapsycho · 11/10/2017 09:55

I have Tuesdays recorded... which couple is it?

secondhoneymoon · 11/10/2017 11:41

Two guys, can't remember their names - Mark and Chris maybe?

youngestisapsycho · 11/10/2017 11:57

I'll watch this afternoon... have seen clips of Court crying and leaving the table... is that this episode?

ellenanora5 · 11/10/2017 12:12

Josh is trying to be nice, that some game he's playing, Court and Duncan are cooking tonight youngestisapsycho

Textpectation · 11/10/2017 18:50

I think Josh is being strategic with his voting based on whom he thinks he could beat. He's also trying to piss people off, like #besties.

Court is at the table, so issue probably won't be tonight.

TizzyDongue · 11/10/2017 22:30

Tuesday's episode recording won't play for me and it's missing in playback!! So looks like I won't be seeing it. What happened?

OP posts:
Textpectation · 11/10/2017 23:52

It's on demand.

The footy players did a mostly shite job. They made ragu and stuffed it up.

Textpectation · 11/10/2017 23:55

The quieter contestants have been way tighter than some of those making more judgemental comments. #besties always score really low and the only thing keeping them halfway civil is they haven't cooked yet.

TizzyDongue · 12/10/2017 14:49

The on demand episode is missing for me. I've been banned from watching it seems.

We should have been able to watch the final this week but my cable box stopped working. It was fixed so hopefully I can watch it at the weekend.

Weedsnseeds1 · 12/10/2017 19:56

The tomatoless Bolognese, a "twist" on a classic that was never going to work Grin

TizzyDongue · 12/10/2017 20:38

Not sure why they called it a tiramisu. Though in fairness it wasn't a Bolognese it was a ragu - so no twist there!

Starters were rubbish though. No surprise however as they sounded rubbish!!

Court behaved ridiculously. Though I suppose it matched her baby voice way of talking.

This is one of my favourite programmes & am so glad I found this thread as no one I know watches it

Josh is such a moron !!

Textpectation · 12/10/2017 22:58

Court and Josh had seen their arses before they'd even arrived. I could kind of see where Court was coming from at first, Della and Fishface were talking about them as if they weren't in the room. Having a gob on is passive aggressive, rude and annoying, they both should have been more vocal. The second outburst when they were asked for their critique of the main was just sour grapes. They scored the midwives ok and still made it off the bottom of the leaderboard. Storm in a teacup.

BUT

  • It's a TV show, a chat by Manu could have happened much sooner.
  • It's edited for entertainment. So fucking what; she had a meltdown and made a bit of a tit of herself.
  • Even when she cheered up, Betty slagged her.
  • Josh's glee must have been hard to bear.

I hope hashtaggers and Fishface both fall on their arses.

Textpectation · 13/10/2017 19:31

Pete and Manu at 39 mins = lol.

So funny how they looked at each other. Much better atmosphere tonight.

TizzyDongue · 13/10/2017 21:05

Court and Ducan are quite pathetic aren't they? Massive sulk last night.

OP posts:
HSMMaCM · 13/10/2017 21:28

I could understand term being annoyed at everyone talking about them as if they weren't there, but they were both sulking ridiculously about being at the bottom of the board.

youngestisapsycho · 13/10/2017 21:54

I’m not getting why the scores are announced each evening so everyone knows each other’s scores.... therefore they can deliberately give a high or low score depending on whether they like who has cooked?! Josh and Amy are last to cook, everyone dislikes them so could give low scores....

youngestisapsycho · 13/10/2017 21:56

And Court had a nasty smirk on her face when she realised they weren’t bottom anymore!

secondhoneymoon · 13/10/2017 22:58

I'd really liked Court until that point, was a bit childish. Cannot wait for Joh and Amy's. I should imagine lots of people will be gunning for them

Textpectation · 13/10/2017 23:06

They edit the reactions. In one of the first episodes at headquarters they cut to Josh smirking, in the wide shot he was clapping along with everyone else. Court was a bit of a sore loser mind.

ellenanora5 · 14/10/2017 19:23

I couldn't believe the carry on of Court and Duncan, they left everyone waiting for three hours for the main course and over three hours for desert, what on earth did they expect, I thought the were going to leave, noticed how she was grinning like a Cheshire cat when the midwives were being scored, I went right off them to be honest.

David and Betty aren't too nice either, I think they're quite sly actually.

Looking forward to seeing how the seafood king does, I bet he won't cook any seafood, and I also think they will get through, its entertainment the producers want and he sure gives it so I reckon they could be there till the end, hope I'm wrong though.

secondhoneymoon · 14/10/2017 19:57

As much as I dislike Josh, suspect he's been unfairly edited. 'dead famous' by Ben Elton opened my eyes to how much control the production team have on how people are portrayed.... still unlike Josh but know that he has probably been cast as the villain so maybe we need to cut him a bit of slack, as much as it pains me to say that
