I preferred last years season. There is a bit of a hoo haa over this years winner but my lips are sealed.

I love this show but I gave up last year after a few weeks, it just didn't do it for me, I got bored, and I'm not a Heston fan, but I'll give it a whirl next week and see how it goes, other than last year I've watched every series since it started.

Late-DH got me into watching, I'll be watching with just ds2 this season.

I can't watch the UK version anymore after getting hooked on Australian Masterchef a few years ago. It seems so slow in comparison.
Like the US version too but some of the contestants seem to have been chosen for their showiness rather than their cooking ability. Aussie one is much more authentic and I love the range of foods they cook and the emphasis on street food.

Australian master chef has such a different budget though. They have adverts about every 10 minutes so one episode lasts about an hour and 40 minutes. We have the BBC. Ours is dull in comparison.

I can't warm to Australian Masterchef at all. The bloke in the cravat and smoking jacket, the contestants who act like newly recruited cult converts, all the filler chat. No, I prefer staid old UK Masterchef.
