Any Nashville fans traumatised by tonight's episode?

I've only just got around to watch the post "mid season break" eps.

Bit too much Maddie for me!

The girl has got a lovely voice but I much prefer her sister's or when the two sing together.

Don't miss Rayna though!

I've stopped. I just can't bear how bad it's become and it's really sad as I adored it before.

I think that'll be it for me now.

Don't care about Scarlett & Gunnar.

Juliette made a decision for herself & owned up to something.

Deacon seems to be a star now.

I don't know why the writers were so keen on creating all the shit for Scarlett and Gunnar for so long - it's utterly pointless and really boring to watch.

I do think unless Hayden Panettiere is feeling able to resume filming with everyone else (and fair play to her if she doesn't), they need to wrap this up in a short series of maybe 7 episodes. Daphne gets to step out of Maddie's shadow, Will becomes a mega-star, Juliette is redeemed (and takes over Highway 65, I thought that was what was going to happen at the end of the last season) oh and Liam comes back to produce an awesome album for Deacon and Avery. That should do. Scarlett and Gunnar - meh, don't really mind one way or another (Gunnar has dyed his hair blond in the next season, just to warn you - I saw a trailer).

Oh yes, I thought that Juliette would take over H56.

I thought she was supposed to be a mega superstar when it started.

Do people really like Maddie’s voice? She does this warbly breathy noise that I can’t stand. And I can’t skip through her scenes because her awful songs are usually over the closing montage.

For those with Now TV, the Nashville concert in London is on there. I’m glad I didn’t pay £70 for a ticket though. They didn’t play any of my favourite songs.

I don't think tha Maddie has a bad voice-but I think that it is enhanced by Daphne's.

This was my fave show for years, but once I realised that they really were going to go ahead and kill Rayna I couldn't watch anymore.
I couldn't face watching them shove Maddie front and centre as I've hated her for years now (remember the good old days of the first couple of seasons where you wouldn't see Rayna's girls from one episode to the next?!) and Scarlett is just the worst.
The new writers came in without watching the previous seasons and hacked it all to bits.
Meh. What a disappointment.

I agree. Maddie is better as a duet. She just makes my teeth itch and is such a boring, bratty character. Why do the other characters act like she’s some sort of musical genius?

I don’t think Nashville will be back on Freeview as it was brought by Sky. Don’t think it’ll be on Amazon for a while either. Get a free Now TV trial to watch it?

Maddie has terrible diction.

Nashville went very weird in this last series. Storylines introduced and characters wheeled on for about five minutes, then dropped. How come after Maddie's boyfriend left town we never saw her realising he'd gone/moping over him/trying to find him? Why did they have Juliette cook up that batshit theory about Avery and the gospel singer
and then wrap it up in one episode and we've never seen her again? What about the girl living in the squat who Daphne befriended?

What's the story with Hayden Panettiere and why might she not feel 'able to resume filming with everyone else'?

Surprised to see S6 appear on Sky Living last night with no notice! Looking good so far..

I watched it & thought it was ok but not great. Was hoping they'd have moved it on more & really don't want to see Juliet getting involved with a cult or someone else who's going to take advantage.

I'm enjoying Season 6; it's actually quite funny. Cant figure out where the storylines are going yet...Deacon and Jessie seem too happy so that's bound to go pear-shaped. Keep thinking of Joey Essex when I see Maddie's new boyfriend. I loved the song they sang together.

Is this back in the U.K. now? I’m in two minds about whether to watch it. The last season was pretty bad. But I am invested now so may as well watch the last ones.

That’s how I feel dingdong. Its a shorter series too so not wasting as much time!
The new series has been on for a couple of weeks now in the UK. Not too bad so far but I’m fast forwarding most of the Juliette storyline!

Hate the Juliet storyline but enjoying the rest of it.

Why is Maddie dating Joey Essex?

I miss the memorable songs, they were such good songs in the first few series I would listen to the albums all the time. It really tailed off though which was a surprise, I mean which writers wouldn't want their country song given that exposure? I couldn't name one song off the top of my head from the last two series. I still like the show but not with the same intensity as in the beginning. The gunnar / scarlett storyline was so on/off which was a surprise to end how it is, unless they will get back together right at the end.
