I think it's the dance moves that make it all extra cringy. I honestly always thought that this whole choir sing off battling only happened in movies. In American movies.

Was passingly interested as usually like GM programmes and one of the groups was localish. But format far too protracted.

I saw a reality TV thing on acapella groups at American colleges and apparently they actually do have sing offs, or "acabattles". Some of them took it insanely seriously. I mean, I sing in a choir myself, but I have come close to falling asleep at a slow rehearsal.

Does anyone else think Will Young has come as the male lead from The Princess Bride? Like he thought it was Book Day and cheated slightly.

Sorry, I loved it! Yeah it's obviously scripted and rehearsed - it wouldnt work otherwise. But lovely to see some real talent and frienship singing/performing.
