So Chesney is back in Roy's Rolls looking great - that really is a magic hospital room - it gets patients from death's door to normal in a matter of hours!

While I was watching last night I was trying to remember if the only reason for Liz and Steve giving up the pub was so that Steve could pay Michelle 50% of the value of his share?

Is it an offence to sign for a recorded delivery and then not pass it on to the intended recipient?

The Michelle character is totally unlikeable. Outside of the eye-rolling and arm-folding her general sulky-shittiness makes her a total bitch with no redeeming features.

Felt sorry for Liz. Losing her job and her home cos Steve is an idiot. Her new boss is horrible!

I felt sorry for Liz - she looked genuinely sad. I'm always surprised when Corrie actors can actually act emotions.

No-one has mentioned Emily for a while. It was really silly to send her off to Peru. She could have gone to stay with her deaf niece, or to the Lake District with Mavis.

She's coming back though I think.

Selling the pub was madness, it doesn't make financial sense. It provided a home and jobs for liz and Steve as well as whatever profit they made. They seemed to have at least one spare room they could rent out too. Now they have to rent a flat and find new sources of income. Steve owns a half share in the cab business and the flat over it, why the Jeff didn't he sell that? I know it's fiction but it should make some sort of sense.

Aren't they moving into the flat over the cab office though?
