Matteo's changes in character reminded me of that TV license advert where they go from first date to divorce in 30 seconds.

Just discovered this thread after years of feeling I'm the only one who watches Holby! There are others - yay!

Anyway, PLEASE tell me that's the last we see of Frederik?! Dreadful acting. That attempt at a Swedish accent was enough to make me stop watching Holby.

I've just googled Frederick and he's played by Billy Postlethwaite, son of Pete.

Why Donna has been communicating with and having some kind of relationship (platonic) with that man I have no clue. Surely she's crossing some professional boundary considering how involved she is with the inquest and the fact that she lives with the accused?

I also hope Jaq and Fletch get together. I'm not sure I can see her in the Step Mother role to his 4(?) children seeing as looking after her own doesn't come naturally.

Don't like the Raf and Essie pairing....it's just seems so fake and forced. Sacha was a MUCH better fit for her - I'd like to think that somehow they end up back together...

I'm a bit gutted the Dom and Lofty pairing never took off. It felt like there was such a big build up to it and now it's like it never happened!

As for Nina and Matteo - I can't say I particularly liked or disliked them but I doubt the show will suffer for their departure.

I wish Mo would come back, I loved her!! I also hope that Zoshia will return at some point as I really like her too!!

For the Scottish Holby-ites who also think River City is pure gash

You can watch it at 8pm the other UK BBC channels, definitely at least if you have Virgin. I don't have a smart TV so can't get iplayer on the telly, but all I do is scroll up from BBC 1 past the virgin help channels, the porny ones and the radio and then it shows BBC 1 NI, Wales and England!

My personal preference is for BBC 1 NI, I quite enjoy the random 30 second spot of news from Belfast before it starts

I also think Jeremy is going to be behind it. As beautiful as he is to look at, the death of his mother has clearly affected his mental well-being. He's a man on the edge!

I like Matteo and Nina but can't say I'll miss them much. I would very much miss HH, Jac and gorgeous blue eyed Valentine though.

I don't understand the whole Essie/Rav thing. Poor Sasha. Love him.

I'm still missing Jasmine a bit. And definitely being back Mo!

I will miss Matteo - I liked him and Jac and I like what he brings out in Ollie but that it - he's an add on. Never liked Nina.

Yeah thought they were gonna go romance with Jeez and Donna not psycho. I think psycho is better as long as no one gets hurt (yeah right!!) as it would be wrong to do that to Ric

Essie and Rav is totally wrong.

I like Matteo's voice and will miss it.

I also like his hair. But then my huge TV crush is Santiago Cabrera as Aramis in The Musketeers, so clearly I have a "type".

DH is nothing like this type except that he has a beard
