I wondered if self was going to be found to have some sort of medical condition, probably hereditary to explain all his mistakes?

Guy Self is totally spoiling Holby for me now he's back. I can't stand him or his tedious mind games. I assumed he was faking illness to get "control" of Zoshia after his other plots failed.

The mention of his father dying at younger than he is now I thought could be a clue?

Guy's father committed suicide didn't he? Or have I misremembered that. I thought he said it when he came clean about the abuse he'd suffered.

I can't work out if he's faking to manipulate Zosia, in which case it's worked given shes given up the "prestigious CT placement", or is genuinely ill. They showed the scene of Mrs Rossini (whose actual name escapes me) handing him that business card again so that must be relevant in some way.

Why is it that each week there is always a patient story which either mirrors a staff conflict/problem/dilemma or offers wise insight into where the staff are going wrong?

My favourite example of this was the week that Dom was being physically abused by Isaac and we had the patient who had been living with goats and was kicked and butted by the head billy goat for not recognising the hierarchy

I think he doesn't think Collie is good enough anyway but because he never got over his own wife he doesn't think ollie could have.
