I don't think I need a new couples drama pushed in my face, I don't care because I don't know who they are. Should have introduced them more slowly but I suppose they've run out of drama with the others. Gatsby is just sad keeping on at Chloe.

And it used to be SO GOOD! Genuinely funny and fresh. The first and second series in particular. And they all look so young and not as 'done' - all the girls now seem to have had so much surgery, and they take themselves so seriously. I suppose back then they had no idea how it would affect their lives, whereas now they know to be guarded about certain things.

Pete really makes me cringe. When he was arguing with Gatsby and doing that funny voice and rolling his eyes - it was just weird. A grown man calling someone a donut in an argument?!

I'm gonna need counselling after that episode. Arg had Gemma and Lydia in the same day???? Re-volt-ing.

Nowadays the girls could be from any city in the country, their 'look' is almost normal (think Little Mix, Vicky Paterson, Real Cheshire Housewives etc) but originally they were the cliche Essex girls and boys and it was fascinating and fun to watch their glamourous, upwardly mobile lives. Their relationships were real and they were all younger so quite light hearted. I also think there were genuine friendships but now I'm sure a lot of them are put together for the show or stay together for the fame and opportunity it offers. There also used to be a lot of laughs. Joey Essex and Amy Child's were hilarious.

Ah if your watching from the start then you'll see Jamie - twice if i remember rightly.

Now we all know that SPOILER ALERT Pete and Megan have split up IRL then surely next episode will just be watching their relationship implode in a flurry of bitchy side eyes and Pete shaking his wee head a lot.
