It has been reported in a newspaper (OK it was the Sun...so shoot me!!) that Goran Visnjic has quit ER.
Yep, that's right, no more Luka after this series.
So what are you going to do?

Slightly off topic.

Did anybody see the episode where they bring the baby monkey into the ER? (it may well have been last season - we are in Africa and things aren't as up-to-date as in the UK).

Anyway, I was totally disgusted. That poor baby monkey died, having been prodded, poked and medicated. Arrgggh... what was the point

i miss carter too, haven't watched much since he left. found that whole africa story line irritating. also couldn't bear the luka abby baby storyline, all too upsetting. no watch no more.

Wasn't the monkey thing something to do with Romano? I may be wrong.
I'm renting all the old series from Lovefilm.com, I've just got to where Luka has joined and Carol's had the twins.
And for all that have More4, Greene dies next week. I'm going to cry again.

Felt sorry for poor Romano - that helicopter had it in for him lurking round corners waiting to slice bits of him off before finishing him off completely!!

I will morn Luca thoguh - he is one of the only reasons I have kept watching this season as the story lines are a bit pap!!

So glad that I'm not the only person hating this series. I just can't figure out why I don't like it.

Hmm, I have a halfbaked theory about ER's peaks and troughs.

When they introduce loads of new characters I always go off it for a bit. Felt the same when Ray/Morris etc started. So at the moment I have no real investment in that blonde woman, her off Roseanne and the ex paramedic guy.

By the end of the last series I was loving it again so I will probably find the same with this one. I hope the ex paramedic guy isn't meant to be the replacement eye candy for Luka though because he so just isn't.
