Celebs Go Dating series 2

I can't be the only one watching this, surely? Obviously, none of the celebs (with the possible exception of sweet, shy Perri) have any interest in falling in love with a muggle but it's so funny watching the awkward dates and people's attempts to stand out. The narration is absolutely hilarious.

Bear is a truly obnoxious, horrid person. He thinks women are playthings and doesn't give a damn about anyone but himself. But the show makes it pretty clear that the narrator and "dating experts" dislike him and how he treats women, which is good. His behaviour was validated on CBB, glad to see it's not being validated on this show.

Secretary Tom is a sweetheart. And eloquent. And am I the only viewer to find Eden's "A real man would NEVER treat a woman like that!" rather hot?

I love it I detest bear he's awful I don't know why anyone would go near him! I absolutely love tom I could watch him all day he's so sweet and manages to be pleasant to bear which is a miracle in itself!

I think you'd have to have zero self-esteem to go near Bear. Or be desperate to get on TV. He lies as easily as breathing, a really nasty trait.
And I love the relationship between Tom and Joey - they've a genuine rapport (more than anyone's had on any date 😀)

Me and DD have been watching - it's so funny, Ferne thinks everyone is her dream man then changes her mind completely on the actual date, Perri is so sweet but like a tween, and Bear is just so vile - but we did chuckle at Blue Lips and Blondie...he is just terrible to girls and the agency pair keep saying the man underneath is lovely but hiding, but no, I think he is just THAT vile! Tom is adorable!

I watched a little of this after reading something online. Never seen Bear before, but my god what an awful person. How he gets any girl is beyond me.

Did you see how quickly Fearne's tears dried up when she heard the new guy was rich? It was like a miracle!

And he was strange, wasn't he? I couldn't figure him out at all.

I LOVE this show. I never watched season 1 unfortunately. Bear is an absolute bellend. His voice alone makes me want to punch myself. Fernes last date was horrendous!!

Ferne's last two dates have been horrendous! The banker just came across as someone with no interests outside of work. And Tyrone was hilarious in a really cringey way. But she handled them well - I loved how she called Tyrone, in particular, out for overstepping the mark (I'm a people pleaser so have always found that really difficult to do)

The faster Bear is dropped from all TV, the better. I watched this last year with Charlotte Crosby and she was crass and crude at times, but with a sweetness and vulnerability. She can also laugh at herself (and frequently did) Bear laughs at everyone but himself. I can't understand what she (or any self-respecting woman) could possibly see in him.

Oh, looks like they are actually still together.

Does anyone remember Bear from Shipwrecked? He got together with some girl on it who was awful too. They had awful superiority complexes.

I think Tom is my new favourite person in the entire world. It's so refreshing to see someone on TV that's so positive about every single thing.

So confused re jorgie and James. She threw him in at the deep end then kept pushing him to say he hated the evening. As they said she was totally "self-sabotaging". The long distance relationship excuse was just convenient for her so find a way out x

Although just watched last nights and perri at the group talk made me cry bless him I think he's very sweet he just tries too hard at the dates ! X

I was meh about Jorgie but the thing with James was just weird and it's put me right off her. Joey is coming across brilliantly. Not quite as dim as he usually makes out. But he's got a sharp sense of humour.

Ah Perri was heartbreaking. He needs to get rid of some of his hair if he wants to let people see he's not the same 13yr old everyone thinks he is.

Me and dd(16) love this series. It's great. And helps her see that live isn't easy even for mega rich or drop dead gorgeous types!

Still loving this - Ferne is sooo fickle, one minute her date is the love of her life then she just finds one thing about them (last date being 3 years older than her "cut off age") and that's it! Binned!

Jonathan is so up himself, Melody obsessed with her vagina and Jorgie definitely self sabotaged. Bear still as terrible as ever, but funny to watch as a viewer, Perri sweet but clueless and Joey thick as you like but means well. Will be sad when it ends as it's very entertaining!!

My son does an epic impression of fern crying. Which is neither here nor there. My daughter has picked up nadia's mannerism of crinkling her nose at every opportunity. And apparently there's another mixer this week.

Blue lips!!!!! It's utterly fabulous and I will be a sad cat when it's finished :O(.
