I liked JJ but I don't think you can trust someone who so casually lies about trivial things. He's made me feel uncomfortable thinking that slight deception is ok. First conning Mrs Tembe into meeting him and then the motorcycle shop man by asking for a test ride when he's got no intention of buying anything.

I don't think JJ was right for Mrs T either. I found him slightly dodgy. Not sure why. Maybe it's the casual lies. And he was a bit full-on, somehow. And Mrs T WAS ashamed of him imho.

I think she got a bit carried away at first, then realised that JJ was very different from her after all. She's a snob, really. Very up herself and full of her own importance. I used to quite like her but she's showing her true colours over JJ and it ain't pretty. overinvests
