Poor Gabby, constantly get b*tch slapped by Laurel! Where is Laurel's baby anyway. I haven been following too much lately but never seem to see her whenever Laurel is on screen running between visiting Ashley, cooking him meals and flirting with the hot health visitor

The baby must be at the open all hours invisible child minder that all young children in soaps go to. She is playing there with Johnny no doubt. Does Bob Hope have twins? they are never mentioned anymore (or seen - what age would they be now?)

The invisible childminder must look after Pryia's daughter as well. I'd forgotten she had one and can't even remember how old she'd be now. I vaguely remember she was wheeled out after David's cancer diagnosis.

I haven't seen Bob's twins in years and didn't realise they lived with him

chas's mom looks like she as a face mask on and forgot to wash it off.
bobs twins havent been seen since they was about 2, they'll probably turn up in the woolpack when they are 18 even bob wont reconise them

Is Laurel some kind of Superwoman? She recently had a baby (who has not been seen for ages) and she was working, cleaning, holding underwear parties, even cooking for Ashley and his new girlfriend, never mind supposedly looking after a small baby! Crikes, when mine were that young, I couldnt even go for a pee on my own, never mind all that

Petra I agree - it's always the same in soaps (and dramas)though. The baby is always asleep in the pushchair when Laurel hits/talks to Gabby and is nowhere to be seem when she needs to visit Ashley.

My mum had early onset Dementia (not vascular though like Ashley) and I have to say Laurel has had a very, very easy time. Not realistic in the slightest. Who would have thought that near a little village there would be a luxury facility for early onset patients that Ashley could get funding for as easy as pie! Oh if only real life dementia was actually like that and the care package so easy to come by.

Also, Laurel is a big fat hypocrite. She left Ashley because of his elder abuse but how many times has she hit Gabby now?? with no or little remorse.

GurneyGob, I was thinking the exact same last night, I hate in soaps that there is so much face slapping, it's always a woman who hits another woman, or woman who hits a man or a teenager, it's completely unacceptable, there would be uproar if she hit Arthur or Sandy and rightly so but for some reason she gets away with slapping Gabby.

Is Sarah still in Prague, who is with her or did she come back with Debbie and she hasn't been seen yet.

I wish they would write Adam out, I can't stand him.

No one would miss Adam or Victoria (or the White family). Perhaps they could cull the cast and hire better writers with the savings!

I think Debbie has sorted out her passport issues and gone to Prague to be with Sarah and Chas and Charity have gone too ( not sure as I missed a few episodes)

So, I've only started watching Emmerdale recently. Discovered some old episodes on youtube and have managed to make myself cry seeing Aaron and Jackson :/ although it soon gets confusing to see how often all the other characters swap partners! As a young good looking gay men, Aaron is the only one who is faithful!

bonfireheart Aaron and Jackson were brilliant, the whole storyline leading up to Aaron coming out was amazing, if you can find them they are worth the watch.

I am seriously pissed off now with the Aaron/Robert story. Just get Aaron out of that fecking prison. Rebecca can fall stupid-hat-wearing-head-first into the quarry. Why would Robert cheat now after the wedding and all they have been through? It doesn't make any sense.

Such unoriginal writing from Emmerdale. Rather than an intelligent, throughout story about prison, drugs, loneliness and drugs - they've gone for the affair storyline again. Can you imagine the writers all staff around a table and someone suggesting Robert has an affair and them all applauding it for being so original?

And sorry Robert and Rebecca look like twins which makes it even more creepy.

Aaa just realised - what if Rebecca gets pregnant then we end with a tedious who's the daddy storyline, coz we all know that Ross has super sperm too? Lots of crying from Aaron and Robert saying he's changed.

Yes bonfire very cynical of Emmerdale to use Aaron's abuse for a shitty Christmas baby storyline. I'm so disappointed. I've been watching since the 90's and never been more upset at anything they've done!

Stupid writers. Really annoying. i was really liking Robert, which I never thought possible when he first returned. Now it's just stupid. He wouldn't have done it and neither would Rebecca. When she first turned him down I was so relieved the writers didn't do the same old boring storyline - then so pissed off they did. GROW UP and write an intelligent story.

Grrrr.

They have totally messed up with this crap. I can't stand Rebecca anyway so to have her tied to Robert forever by a baby would drive me round the twist! She is just horrible saying Aaron is a nice guy. She was the sober one so why did she do it then? But then she thinks Ross is a good guy as well! Shows how stupid she is.

Bob's twins were mentioned again and this time Brenda even referred to one of them by name. That's twice in a week, maybe they'll be appearing soon

So it does look as if there'll be a Who's the Daddy storyline in December since Rebecca slept with both R&R within a couple of days. I guess she'll try to pass the baby off as Ross' since she told him he's a great dad (on one of his rare excursions to the swings with Moses). So ridiculous.

Agree April is a cracking little actress.

I did laugh at the psychic scenes with Chas' mum. I've missed lots of episodes - how did she know about Pearl's dodgy past (and why would anyone employ a receptionist in a brothel!)?
