The Goldbergs how I love thee

Last night I watched the 'Stephan King' episode; oh how Sweet were Erica and Geoff? Barry in the Audrey 2 suit and as for Adam crawling up the stairs a la misery.
I know it has faults, but it is the only program that is making me laugh at the moment.

I love it too. The whole 80s theme is done so well. Also the real life video clips are so funny.

ahh my people I absolutely love the Goldbergs it is my favourite show, it makes it even better that it is based on a real family, I can't fault it really!!

I love it too, especially being a teen of the 80's and loving all the music! It's very similar to The Wonder Years (why is this never shown on TV? ).

Yes they are a real family but Erica is a made up sister. Love them all and all the 'side' characters, Pops, Dave Kim, Lainey, Coach Mellor.

It is one of the best comedy shows on tv at the moment, I love it.

It's brilliant, one of my favourite shows right now. DH says he feels sorry for our DC as they get older because I am most definitely a "smother" in the making. I bloody love Beverley.

How funny is Pops too? He has some cracking lines.

Love the show. One of the few things on at the moment that actually makes me laugh. My DS1 calls me Beverley if I'm wanting huggies and snuggies, not to mention nubbies. I love it! He also (unintentionally) has the same jacket Barry wore in one episode and was how it was in fashion first in the 80's!
Favourite scene has to be professor glascot talking about his parrot he can't get rid of. I don't know why but that cracks me up every time!

One of my favourite tv programmes at the moment, I grew up in the 80s so love all the film and music references. Love Barry and the JTP.

My DCs call my Bevvy, which I naturally take as a compliment.

I love The Goldbergs! I'm glad E4 aren't messing about with it like Big Bang. It's different to other "comedy shows" and the mix of reality, especially when people from the actual event have cameos, is very clever and fun

Oh my goodness I didn't realise Erica and lainey were fictional?! I had always wondered why there was never video clips of Erica :-(

I love it. Although I must admit I cried at the Dirty Dancing episode
It made me laugh when they brought in the running joke about the other Adam Goldberg after the actor with that name was so arsey to him.

Erica is actually Eric irl.

I love Erica though, she is such rather great character.
I was talking to dh earlier and saying Erica is great and Beverley and yeah Adam and Barry and Murray and Pops... it really is a great ensemble piece isn't it, I struggle to find a week link?!

Oh yay! I love The Goldbergs too. I keep telling my kids I'll go into school and stalk them, talk to their teachers and I chase them for snuggies and nubbies.

I love the real videos at the end and when they have his old school friends play someone.

One of my favs atm. It is so true to mad family life, so relatable while being absolutely hilarious. Im hoping to be the next Beverley "smother" Goldberg to my children. I loved the Christmas/Hannukah episode recently, so funny.

Love them all. I think Beverley and Pops are my favourite though. Beverley's sweaters are just fabulous.
