I hope it's the real Dee because otherwise I'm going to feel really cheated by the big 'Dee returns' build up. I think it has to be, because who else could it be? If the sister was killed in a bike accident, presumably there was a body which was identified as her. If there was a mix up there it means Dee's sister is back from the dead rather than Dee which would be ridiculous even by Neighbour's standards!

MiddleClassProblem · 25/01/2017 22:22

What if Emily is Dee...

Still not happy about potential wombat kidnapping

BreconBeBuggered · 25/01/2017 23:18

Dee not remembering Ellie makes perfect sense. Who else remembered her without Googling?

ZackyVengeance · 25/01/2017 23:41

no one remembers elly
I hope dee is dee

MommaGee · 26/01/2017 01:20

Maybe sister killed someone (loner) and put her I'd on her and then assumed Dee's identity.
Maybe Emily killed sister then assumed Dee's identity after extensive surgery.

Who the hell is Elly anyway??

MommaGee · 26/01/2017 01:24

Omg Tad was David in Two Pints of Lager!

TheSecretMrsFairbrother · 26/01/2017 07:57

So Dee decided not to come back when she saw Toady with Sindy (a girlfriend) as he looked happy and settled.

But she's ok with reappearing now he has a wife and childConfused

Given the whole 'untreated head injury' thing shouldn't Karl (the only doctor in town™) have checked her out in the hospital room that everyone ends up in?

MiddleClassProblem · 26/01/2017 11:08

It's not like Elly has the same face. She doesn't even have the same face as Martha in H&A! 😂

TheSecretMrsFairbrother · 26/01/2017 11:24

Elly certainly doesn't have her original teeth!

Asheth · 26/01/2017 12:27

Was Ben in it when Dee was last there? I assume so as Dee mentioned knowing his dad. But Ben must be quite bit older than she's expecting - that would confuse anyone, brain injury or not! Grin

Katz · 26/01/2017 12:31

Ben was born in 2001 i think and Dee departed in 2003 and Bens dad died in 2002

MiddleClassProblem · 26/01/2017 12:54

So Ben came along Dec 2001 so he should be 16 this year/just 15. Not sure how old he's meant to be but didn't he go to a gifted school? Maybe he was moved up a year? I'm not sure if I've heard his age mention but thought the girls were 16/17.

I thought Dee was kinda saying that she knew of Ben as a baby/toddler.

Daffydil · 26/01/2017 16:10

I think they may have reached a new low in acting today Confused James Udagawa is just dreadful.

MakeItStopNeville · 26/01/2017 18:05

What the Hell was that today?! Kidnapped wombats, Paige announcing the father in front of Jack and Amy, and then the worst acting in the planet, James Udagawa. WTF?!!

ReggaeShark · 26/01/2017 18:33

Christ it was bad. Poor Therese actress having to perform opposite that terrible acting.

olliegarchy99 · 26/01/2017 18:51

I did find it amusing when Paige stated the obvious that the baby would not look like his 'father' if it was alleged to be David Smile
why lie and complicate the issue still further?

RTKangaMummy · 26/01/2017 19:25

His eyebrows were something else weren't they?

It was like he was using them to act as important - dreadful

SilenceOfTheYams · 26/01/2017 19:58

A quote from Sam Humphrey on DigitalSpy about joining Neighbours... He certainly needs to keep improving those skills! 😐

Speaking about joining the soap, Humphrey said: "I love the whole process and I've learnt so much on Neighbours. I want to keep improving my skills and hopefully inspire other people to chase their dreams."

Article is from July 2016 so no spoilers.

Oh my days, as a viewer from the very beginning I have seen some shit on Neighbours, but today has to be down in the bottom 5.

i just noticed that David has lego hair

TheSecretMrsFairbrother · 26/01/2017 20:32

James is like a parody Bond villain.

Is the Paige/David storyline recycled?

I'm sure that Toady pretended to be the father of Steph's youngest child (Adam) as the real father was Libby's husband.

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 26/01/2017 21:04

Yep they did. Weren't Steph and Toady going to get married? Clearly Neighbours are going green and recycling as many storylines as possible. Any day now Sheila will be heading off to the Bungle Bungles for a painting trip.

Also, why is David's acting style constantly 'someone who desperately needs a wee but is too painfully polite to ask where the loo is'. It makes me feel uncomfortable watching him.

BusMum79 · 27/01/2017 07:56

I'm beginning to wonder whether the Udagawas are going to have something to do with the Tanaka paternity mystery. All this random stuff about wills and inheriting the Udagawa estate, you just know the writers would love to have Leo pit himself against Paul and Therese and then end up inheriting a share of Lassiter's... And also, Ramsay Street is not known for its diversity, so just as every gay character must suddenly fall in love with every other gay character on the street, the fact that both families are Japanese may be a pointer!

MiddleClassProblem · 27/01/2017 09:39

I got confused with his sister bit. Did he say he didn't have as much stake because his mum married into the family? Is he saying that he is a step grandchild? Surely your family always has one parent married into the family unless his sister is from his dad and a cousin... or closer...

AGnu · 27/01/2017 10:06

I think he was implying that he didn't come from an Udagawa uterus & therefore wasn't as important. I know very little about Japanese culture so I don't know if daughters are usually considered particularly important. Maybe it's just in this family that Mr Udagawa indulged his daughter & therefore favours her child. Good call on the link to the Tanakas though - I can definitely see that happening! It'll turn out that their father was Mr Udagawa's first born who was his favourite who died in some tragic accident & he'll give them Lassiter's. Or perhaps they'll be Mr Udagawa's secret children... They're supposed to be mixed race though, aren't they? Maybe their grandmother who died recently had an affair with Mr Udagawa & was so hard on them about behaving properly because she lived with the guilt/shame of an affair?! Anything's possible in Neighbours! Grin
