I think the Cindy/Sindi storylines must have been during the years when I had stopped watching Neighbours. I hope she and fake Dee get unmasked, and get their comeuppance soon.

I am getting cross with Brad and Therese - it is such a stupid battle of wills, when they could compromise with Piper.

If you give presents for the baby at the baby shower do you still have to buy a present when the baby is born? Why not just wait till the baby is born? What if the pregnancy goes wrong? They didn't have such things in my day
Seriously there's a million threads of this on AIBU. Np you dont have to buy twice. Dp it before baby so mom can enjoy it without breastfeeding, sleep dep etc. What of you wait til the bab is born and then it dies? How do people get the nursery set up on this logic? Yes it's all terribly American and modern

I did think it was strange when fake Dee talked about how once she started pretending she could almost remember being in the water. But where did Willow come from?

I hate Brad. He's a complete hypocrite. All sanctimonious about Piper when he's a serial cheater. I like Therese when she's scheming with Paul, but hate her in this story. I hope they don't end up making Piper give up. I'm a parent of teenagers and I'm still rooting for Piper!

I think there is a twist with how they dragged out the explosion and and balloon stuff. I think we will either find Dee or at least what happened to her or she will be Dee but doesn't know it.

Saying dad was in the U.K. I'm sure there is was a clip in the promo at the beginning of the year with Karl at Big Ben. Maybe looking for the dad/visiting Holly?

Yes, I picked up on the unnecessarily specific mention of Willow's dad's location & wondered if there was anyone other than Mal in the UK. Was Mal still on the street during the original Dee era? Did he move straight to the UK when he left?

I'm sticking with my theory that she is real-Dee but can't remember & has constructed a fictional back story for herself. I'm guessing Willow's real mum was the one who found Dee & either something happened to her or Dee was struggling to create memories/know the truth & ran off with Willow believing her to be her daughter & then as her brain healed a bit more she was able to create new memories but her fake back story stuck.

I was right about fake-Dee breaking in to get at the box. There was no explanation as to what she wanted from the box, or how she faked the DNA. Plus, who would remember the specific details of their ex's dead wife's wedding ring after over a decade in enough detail that someone else could get an exact replica made? I couldn't describe my own wedding ring that accurately!

Middle - there are some good stories ideas there.

My theory is that Dee did survive and was washed up on a shore. A man with a two year old found her and took her in. On discovering she has no memory convinced her she was the mother of the child and then legged it 6 months later leaving her with the child she thinks is hers.

to embellish the my version more. The man had previously kidnapped his child from her mother in a custody battle - which is why when he found Dee washed up he didn't call the police - he was running from the law. He then gave Andrea a back story which she didn't question. Andrea has flash backs to her old life but without anyone or full in the gaps in convinced the story willows dad told her is true. I'm not quite sure why he shot theough leaving Dee with the child maybe he wa spooked by the police. Dee then carried on caring for the child she believed to be hers and eventually ran into Sindi

No, Dee is definitely fake. She has started scowling and smirking like a real Neighbours villain. The "troubled and upset " face has gone.

But surely if she is actually a fake Dee they'd have used a different actress who looked weirdly like the real one... I can't understand when we know it's the same person but she's pretending to be someone who is pretending to be that person... Surely someone would just know it's not her- no two people are that alike. It makes no sense at all.

I think it has been revealed too quickly. Right after we get the Willow reveal to Toadie.

Surely if Willow is going to apply for this scholarship she will have to give her real date of birth, won't she? And produce some form of ID like her birth certificate.

Piper is so much more mature than Brad and Therese. Why is Therese taking parenting advice from Paul, who hardly sees any of his kids? Wish Piper would divorce them.

Brad reminds me of Jim Robinson in his reaction to Piper and Tyler. And Jim Robinson always seemed ludicrously old fashioned in his ideas way back in the 80s.
