I actually like the new twist, It should stop situations like we had last year with Jordan - who was atrocious. But also transgender. So when they all turned around to see who they had dismissed and twigged that, they were all gushy and 'oh my goodness, I should have turned for you, gawguss'. But it didn't change the fact she couldn't sing. It annoyed me. as did the fact she was later allowed to continue on the show when someone dropped out.

But back to this year- the early start for 'Let it Shine ' meant that it inexplicably beat the Voice in the ratings. I think the fact the Voice has been so pants in the past also stopped people tuning in.

So- dh has gone out to buy me vodka. I've had A BAD DAY. This has to cheer me up, or else

Nancy, its honestly the worst named supermarket. Its very misleading in all departments. The only thing thats beenon a farm was in a battery farm ( sad to say) or flown over from 1970s Russia and frozen for years.

I've never heard of them, but according to their website "farmfoods will stop sourcing eggs from caged hens by 2025".

I'm willing to bet even The Voice will make someone famous by then.

My 2 glasses of vodka sent me to sleep. I can't decide whether to watch what I missed.

I agree about Farmfoods- I live somewhere that has every type of 'bargain' shop from the Pound Bakery to B and M, via Iceland and Poundstretcher, with countless pound shops in between. All fine. But I have only ever ventured into Farmfoods once, and it scared me. I couldn't bring myself to buy anything. I had had so many of the leaflets through the door, I figured it couldn't be that bad. I was wrong.

I only go near it now to use the covered bit if it's raining, and I need to get to Wilkos.

I'm really enjoying this series of The Voice. I find Jennifer Hudson tends to dominate the show and can be OTT, but I do think she has big personality and has charisma. I also think she is drastically underrated as a performer. She is a truly phenomenal singer.
