Anyone watch it? Caught it by accident whilst flicking around and it was cracking!

Worth a look at on catch up if you missed it.

Was very good. Nice to have an orginal storyline too.

furlinedsheepskinjacket · 02/01/2017 17:06

i thought it was great

moglovesselectionboxes · 02/01/2017 17:08

It's one of my favourites the kids are marvellous!

Greenteandchives · 02/01/2017 17:14

Watched this today. What a lovely film. Billy Connolly was fantastic, as were the children. I see it was penned by one of the writers of Outnumbered, and interestingly I think the children were ad libbing.

PardonYourBollocks · 02/01/2017 17:29

Thought this was the best thing I've seen in a long time

JudithTaverner · 02/01/2017 17:45

I saw it by accident last night too

Really enjoyed it!

The80sweregreat · 02/01/2017 17:52

It was very good. Kids were very touching and natural.
Made a change from the usual rom com type films.

Toooldtobearsed · 02/01/2017 17:55

Did not see any trailers for it though, suprising really, i thought it was one of the best things on over the Christmas period .

The children were absolutely fabulous - i am definitely up for a Viking funeral 😆

Watched it last night took a bit of a dark twist Grin but we loved it Billy Connoly was wonderful in it and the children were hilarious and obviously the actors bounced off the adlibbing . Brittish film season has been great on bbc2 this year

MrsJayy · 02/01/2017 17:58

Think the lady in the van is on soon maybe friday?

iklboo · 02/01/2017 18:00

We caught it by accident too - missed the first 20 minutes. It was so good. Funny, touching & moving.

Toooldtobearsed · 02/01/2017 18:12

Oh @MrsJayy, you have missed it!

It was on following a programme featuring Alan Bennett - both were brilliant! DH wants to be AB 😄

winewolfhowls · 03/01/2017 21:07

Loved it.billy connelly was amazing, I'm not a huge fan of his comedy but his acting is great in everything I've seen.i particularly love Mrs brown.
I sobbed away when they lit the viking raft.
