Anyone watch it? Caught it by accident whilst flicking around and it was cracking!

Worth a look at on catch up if you missed it.

We watched it last night after reading the first two posts on here. I knew nothing of it about from David T being in it. I was that the kids did the Viking funeral but loved the film and am really glad we watched it in the dark so to speak.

Watched it a while ago expecting something completely different but thought it was totally hilarious

I am just suprised it was hidden away on BBC 2, with no trailers. The amount of crap that was on over the Christmas period Harry Potter, i am looking at you, and they hide this little gem away......

We got lady in the van on iplayer and downloaded it so will watch it over the weekend

The children were brilliant you could tell they were going off in little tangents and the adults had to work round them Billy connoly looked like he had lots of fun with them

I was laughing when they were quizzing Mrs Meldrew about being a lesbian

I watched it too.
I hadn't realised it was a film out a couple of years.
It was really touching.
I really believed Billy would reappear as he had just been in a coma

Excellent film, a favourite in our house.

I thought it was fabulous too.

I read afterwards the eldest girl is actually Aled Jones' daughter. I still think of him as being about 10 years old.

I'm just watching this now, and loving it.
Beautiful scenery as well.

Glad to see this thread. We caught it accidentally too and thought it and Peter Pan Goes Wrong were the best things on telly this Xmas.

Aled Jones' daughter She was great in this. Excellent acting from all the kids.

Peter Pan Goes Wrong was fecking hilarious! I've liked the Mischief Theatre on Facebook so I can go and see whatever they do next.
