Saw this on tour in Nottingham.

Howled with laughter. On the night, I was the one getting screamed at by Captain Hook during his meltdown.

The programme carried on the joke with fake biogs of the characters as well as interviews and fake adverts for 'local' businesses.

I'm going to see 'The Play That Goes Wrong' in Coventry.
I'm hoping to see the bank robbery in London.

There was a gala performance of the last one for Children in Need.

We saw this on tv too and loved it . We were luckily given free tickets to see it in Oct half term and took DS 9 to see it worrying whether he would get it/ find it funny - he laughed like a drain. Mind you he took part in it as the actors came round the theatre in the 15 mins before start and he started standing up for the actor being harangued by his colleague . Best thing I've seen in ages - would like to see the Bank a robbery one as well.

Watched it again last night and laughed at the bits i missed because i was laughing David suchet with his glitter

Watched it last night with dc. Haven't seen ds9 laugh that much for a long time. Absolutely brilliant.

Best thing I've seen for ages. Just got 22 year old DS and his gf to sit down and watch it. They were a bit sceptical but I haven't heard such deep belly laughs from DS in ages.

Dd2 is back at college on Monday she is going to pick up tickets for The play that goes wrong

i recorded this and we sat down to watch it as a family on the last night of the holidays. The teens loved The Play That Went Wrong on the Royal Variety last year. However, they just didn't enjoy this and dh didn't like it either. I ended up turning it off after a while also.

DS (22) and his gf watched it last night and I found them watching it again this morning 😀

I know this is an old thread but I've just seen 'The Play that goes wrong' in Southampton and it was excellent. Very funny - we were laughing all evening when we weren't gasping in amazement at the stunts.
