Anyone watching this? Hilarious!

I saw this plus The Play That Goes Wrong and A Comedy About A Bank Robbery at the theatre too.

As someone who went to stage school when I was younger, my parents are well versed in having to sit through pantos and shows where bits of the set fall off. We all loved it.

MrsJayy · 01/01/2017 12:22

I have recorded it saw a bit of the play that goes wrong on Royal variety last year and properly laughed out loud watching it later with dd

BakeOffBiscuits · 01/01/2017 12:36

I too have seen this at the theatre and The Play That Goes Wrong.

Laughed so much my tummy hurtGrin

ProfYaffle · 01/01/2017 12:37

We watched it without high expectations but ended up loving it. Best bit of Xmas telly (apart from Dr Who)

MrsJayy · 01/01/2017 12:40

Dd is a drama student she loved the play that goes wrong says it is relatable 😂

CharleyDavidson · 01/01/2017 13:05

I loved it. We also caught it by accident and am so pleased we did. DD1 (16) hates 'wasting time' watching TV and usually walks away even when she's enjoying it. She stayed and watched the whole thing, laughing through it. It was the best and funniest thing on TV this Christmas in my opinion. We've since iplayered it to catch the start.

I am a bit gutted that the tour of The Play that goes wrong is touring, but the only week it's anywhere near us is the week that we are away on holiday. Booo!

Groovee · 02/01/2017 10:43

I didn't like it. It seemed so wooden.

Dd who has studied drama enjoyed it.

LadyBaelish · 02/01/2017 10:47

We loved it, saw it in the theatre last month and I wasn't sure how well it would work on tv but it was just as funny! We saw both the other Mischief Theatre shows as well last year, The Play That Goes Wrong is without a doubt the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Hulababy · 02/01/2017 10:50

Have recorded it for Dd son it watched it yet. Dd went to see The Play That Goes Wrong on her gcse drama trip beginning of December and loved it.

BakeOffBiscuits · 02/01/2017 11:22

"I didn't like it. It seemed so wooden."

I think you may have missed the point GrooveeGrin

BakeOffBiscuits · 02/01/2017 11:24

For all those who can't get to London to see The Play That Goes Wrong, it is touring around the UK soon. I'm taking my friend to see it in Feb, have already seen it in London but can't wait to see it again.

MrsJayy · 02/01/2017 11:27

Grovee its meant to be wooden thats the joke my dh didnt get it either we watched it yesterday loved it dh not so much.

MrsJayy · 02/01/2017 11:28

Never heard of this but sounds great, what channel was it on? Can I find it on catch up anywhere?

ChanandlerBongsNeighbour · 02/01/2017 12:05

Ignore me, just googled it myself! BBC, great can get it on catch up!

AllPizzasGreatAndSmall · 02/01/2017 12:23

Am I the only one who sat with it on for about 20 minutes and then said to my son, "This is a bit shit isn't it?" then? Grin

ALemonyPea · 02/01/2017 12:27

We loved it.

DH and I are going to see The Play That Goes Wrong in two weeks, cannot wait! Might have to sedate DH though as he has a rather loud and ongoing laugh.

MrsJayy · 02/01/2017 12:31

Its near us in March but i think its the week I am going to see Sue perkins ill need tocheck when Dd1 gets in from work

wintersdawn · 02/01/2017 12:32

I loved it, couldn't stop laughing. DH did not get it in the slightest, left the room to do something else looking at me like I was mad. So glad I'm not the only one that enjoyed it. I'll have to look at the tour dates.

ChanandlerBongsNeighbour · 02/01/2017 12:47

We're watching it now and my 6yr old is chuckling away! (As am I!).

Hulababy · 02/01/2017 13:09

Watching now :)

DD is giggling away constantly!

SouthWestmom · 02/01/2017 16:05

I thinks it's still in the West End as well as touring? So maybe a different cast for the tour? Has anyone checked?

ALemonyPea · 02/01/2017 22:39

I hope it's the same cast. The poster for our local one shows the original cast.

Cuppaand2biscuits · 02/01/2017 22:45

Spotted it on the iplayer this morning, put it on as my children love a panto and love Peter Pan. I laughed all the way through, my 3 year old thought it was brilliant, didn't even notice the gone wrong bits, he just loves all the characters. My 6 year old looked on with utter disgust, said she could do it better herself! Totally missed the point!
