I watched the first episode this evening, an enjoyable bit of froth noir with Iain Glen, Emilia Fox and Dawn French playing very against type as a foxy ex wife. Has anyone else seen it?

I enjoyed this very much

Finished watching it today and really enjoyed it. But but I can't see why they had to add the water allergy with the daughter really can't see what it added to the storyline at all.

I enjoyed it overall but didn't really like the narration. I thought it was unnecessary a lot of the time, almost as if he was mansplaining what was happening.

Lordofmyflies - which village? It's gorgeous.

I really enjoyed this show and I hope it gets a second series.

I never see stuff coming, but goodness this was predictable. I was so bored by episode 4. Such a shame because it had the potential to be really good.

I liked it but it fizzled out and if Dawn French had wailed 'Terasa' one more time I was ready to reach into the telly with some gaffer tape !!

Wouldn't watch a second series and very glad it was only 4 episodes.

I loved the narration.

The dialogue wasn't great. Especially the "and that's what makes life delicious" line at the end. Urgh.

I would have been more interested in seeing them work together to save the business tbh.

I'm glad that the brother & sister weren't brother & sister but hated that they had sex thinking that they were.

I first thought she was having a bath in boiling water to 'cleanse' herself

She was allergic to water,it brings her out in hives so she gave herself an anaphylactic shock.

But why. Coz of the guilt tho then she knew the baker wasn't her dad due to street scene

Did you fall asleep in some of it Blondes? there was loads explaining how she could only shower once a week in cold water etc.

I know a couple of people with the condition. They use a cream for cleaning (as a non-sufferer might well do). It's not that difficult (and being as I'm from awakes, there's a lot of water!).

Think Teresa tried to kill herself because Michael betrayed her in the street - said the sex was what she wanted and he was the innocent party.

I thought Dawn French was a bit crap; all the gesticulating supposedly showing Italian passion but instead looking like she was doing a train going 'chugga chugga choo choo'.

And how did Sheila Hancock get all that money through airport x-ray machines?

Iain Glen, mind you. Sex on legs. Especially after the last time I saw him on Downton Abbey.
