Me too. What a voice. Seems quite happy in the talkie bits?

Doilooklikeatourist · 27/12/2016 22:21

I love him , his voice is amazing and his skill at writing lyrics out of this world
So sad

Jellykat · 27/12/2016 22:22

2012 ( I think?)

Destinysdaughter · 27/12/2016 22:24

X post!

MuchasSmoochas · 27/12/2016 22:25

I think it was 2012? I was at the Glasgow Symphonica concert. The crowd did not look like the French! In fact it wasn't a great night, I was thrilled to be there but it felt a bit cold. Although big venues are always hard to get right.

Graphista · 27/12/2016 22:28

Watching, was ok till A different corner came on then I went. Enjoying the talky bits too

MuchasSmoochas · 27/12/2016 22:30

Yes I'm so glad I went. However we were sitting beside the drunkest people singing loudly whereas I was there to pay homage. Then the woman beside DH (who had been dragged along) said she should have worn her Tena pants so she wouldn't need the loo Smile he was quite taken aback.

Jellykat · 27/12/2016 22:40

Grin Muchas..

It makes me sad how sad the majority of his songs are..

MuchasSmoochas · 27/12/2016 22:46

Yes it's good but he has so much of his own material that I'd prefer to hear.

MuchasSmoochas · 27/12/2016 22:46

Ooh was that the boyfriend

Jellykat · 27/12/2016 22:48

I love his more upbeat, later stuff…the Faith era.

What a legend.

There's some truly deadbeat reporting over on the Daily Mail ducks & hangs head in shame

MuchasSmoochas · 27/12/2016 22:52

I'm trying not to look at it. Have already fallen out with DH this morning when he told me what the Internet was saying. It just diminishes the loss.

Str4ngedaysindeed · 27/12/2016 22:53

Yes. Can't believe I missed cowboys and angels. It is my very favourite. He had such a beautiful voice that we didn't always appreciate I think

Jellykat · 27/12/2016 22:56

I haven't seen anything in the tabloids or online, heard a lovely hour on radio 2 in memory..

MuchasSmoochas · 27/12/2016 22:58

He is pure class.

Jellykat · 27/12/2016 22:58

Oh cool, the best upbeat song ever Grin
