Anyone else given up on walking dead this season?

We've got 3 episodes on the sky box left to watch. In previous seasons they haven't lasted the day never mind up to 3 weeks!
It's just been so relentlessly bleak and depressing. I just can't face it
I feel quite sad to give up on Rick and co. 😳

Anyone else given up recently?
Or can you give me a teensy hint that it's going to get a little better? 😬

I know where you're coming from but it is worth sticking with it for the mid season finale episode.

Mid season finale is really good and I kind of have a weird crush on Negan.

This season has been shit. I haven't actually enjoyed one episode. And the mid season finale isn't that great. I'm not sure if I'll bother with it. I have absolutely loved it up until now so I'm pretty gutted.

Having watched religiously from the beginning, I only got through half of the first episode of this season.
I found the scenes where Abe and Glenn are killed far too gory and upsetting, and I got to the bit where (I thought but subsequently found out it didn't happen) Rick was about to chop Carl's hand off and had to switch off. it was just too much.
DH is still plodding along with it, just when I am not around.

We struggled on through the first 3 and then switched off halfway though the fourth episode. Don't think we'll be starting up again!

I had been on the brink of quitting but the mid season finale pulled me right back in - it was the old magic again; I loved it. So hopeful the rest of Season 7 will continue like that!

I know it ridiculous and would make really shit telly, but I just wanted them to be all happy in Alexandria and Glenn and Maggie to have a lovely baby and everyone to live happily ever after.
I feel the same way about eastenders, maybe I should stop watching tv full stop!

DH is still watching it but I couldn't watch it after the 1st episode this season, it was way too much for me. I was completely addicted for the first 3 seasons but it's too violent now.

For me I'm always most upset by the fact the people are always far worse than the zombies- but also I think there needs to be some light to counteract all the dark.

Every time Negan is on screen I want to bellow "ACT FASTER!". Angry

I can accept all the other nonsense like Daryl's fringe, Rick's whispering and the personality vacuum that is Sasha, but at least it used to keep moving.

I liked Gabriel's moment in the car recently though, and the other day Michone did a different facial expression, which was nice.

Wonder why they can CGI someone getting stabbed in the head but Karl's eye looks like a bad trip to the Estée Lauder counter.

I think it's cost, Tina - I believe using CGI would make it too expensive to have Carl appear much so they are using make up instead. It does look like a bad makeover!

It has been really shit this season. I am holding out for a Caryl reunion, if that doesn't happen I will probably give up! Negan is dull, Rick is a fanny, Coral is annoying, Michonne is only interesting when she's kicking ass, Morgan is also annoying and I've forgotten who everyone else is Blush

I'm struggling with this series but the mid season finale has pulled me back in. I think it's stretched belief that no one has killed Negan yet there has been so many chances.

Yes same here, four episodes waiting on the planner. I hate Negan too much. Not in a passionate of "it's all too much!" kind of way, but in "oh god you're so relentlessly nasty and one dimensional that it's actually boring to watch" kind of way.

My husband has been binge watching and I have been dipp8ng in and out. I don't get why nobody has just killed Negan. The others are under his control and don't really want to do his bidding. Chop the head off the monster and it's over.

I watched the first one and the rest are just sat there on the Sky box. It's just same old, same old now. I can't quite bring myself to sit through the tedium.
