Anyone else given up on walking dead this season?

We've got 3 episodes on the sky box left to watch. In previous seasons they haven't lasted the day never mind up to 3 weeks!
It's just been so relentlessly bleak and depressing. I just can't face it
I feel quite sad to give up on Rick and co. 😳

Anyone else given up recently?
Or can you give me a teensy hint that it's going to get a little better? 😬

I'm sure negan going to croon baby it's cold outside soon. Urgh.

Stealth, he was travelling with the guy who ended up playing pool with Negan, who was telling Gabriel he wanted Rick to die. Gabriel told him that he was a bit of a shit, or something similar.

Dh is a lifelong fan.
But I have found this season quite depressing. And not good.

The pacing has been completely off this season and viewing figures have dropped significantly from episode 1.

They could have easily dropped 2-3 episodes out of this 8 and the show would have been better as a result. It's like they're trying to spin it out for as long as possible but those single point of view episode are killing the show. An occasional one is effective but too many are affecting the storytelling. We certainly did not need an hour of Tara - if that storyline is important, they could have covered what we need to know in 20 minutes.

Episode 8 gives me hope for part 2 of this season.

Oh yes, those episodes are very tedious, although I did enjoy the Tara one because it was a blessed relief after so much Negan.
