After watching worst tv of the 90's on five I was having a quick google of worse tv ever and one show universally panned was one I loved- called 'out of this world' 80's sitcom about a girl whose half alien and another one me and my sister remember but no one else about a ghost haunting a family that had moved into her house after she'd choked on a chicken bone.
What ransoms do you remember?

Noseybonk from the 80s kids programme Jigsaw, hardly anyone seems to remember it though.

Absolutely bloody terrifying - I found a clip of him recently on YouTube and it still scares me, can't believe he was ever allowed on a programme for kids.

Every now and then I think back to a program I watched in late 1970's/early 1980's called The Two Of us, a young romance bannedby parents kinda program. He was a boy from a well to do background who fancied a girl from the council estate, (cant remember it they went to same school). They get together, they kiss and he giggles and tells her that his mates reckon it would be like 'kissing a cheese grater' because she had full set of braces.
One episode included him drawing her naked in a parents bedroom and the parents arrived home early.
I think there were only 3 episodes, shown on a Friday night and I missed the last one and it has bugged me ever since that I don't know the ending.

I not only remember Seven Little Australians, I had the book. It still makes me cry when she dies at the end, protecting the baby from a fallen tree.

Does anyone remember a kids show called The Gemini Factor? That was the mid 80's I think. Very scary. I had nightmares. Grin
Another one that no one seems to remember. It was bbc early 90s. Every kid in the school was given a free computer/early style laptop. Then each kid was hypnotised (For what reason I have no idea).
The Cuckoo Sister was brilliant. In fact I bought the book for 1p off Amazon and dd has read it several times.

Who remembers S.W.A.L.K from the early 80s? About a teenager experiencing her first crush, first kiss etc. It made such an impression on me.

Afterlife with Andrew Lincoln and Lesley Sharp, although I'm surprised to discover it was only 2005, thought it was about 20 years ago.

There used to be a cartoon aimed at adults (probably late 90's) called God, The Devil, and Bob. Nobody else ever seems to remember it!

Also a series on CBBC called Elidor about another world that was trying to break into this one. It was pretty dark! Scared the crap out of my sister!

Anyone remember The Children of Firetop Mountain? Set in New Zealand and involved a man visiting what I think must have been a Maori area trying to track when a volcano was going to erupt i think (I was pretty young when I watched it so this could be wrong!). It was on before or after The Waltons on Sundays and snippets have always remained in my memory.

I remember when Nanny was cancelled. I was so worried by what happened to her last set of children that my lovely DF told me he’d asked the producers and that they were fine!

Also loved Press Gang. You can find quite a few episodes on you tube.
