I can't understand why Martin isn't asking chelle what's going on, he doesn't seem to find it odd that she would up & leave her family and just turn up unannounced on xmas eve, it's not exactly normal behaviour

I think Celeste is on the money with her pairing of Tina and Michelle. They seemed to have a bit of a spark.

Agree, Martin seems to have no interest in his sister Confused. Has he actually spoken more than two words to her?

Thought for a minute that the overflowing bins might come crashing down on Ronnie and Roxie lying in the gutter but no, just some melancholy music and an arty zoomed out camera.

Michelle is a bit...dowdy, for Max isn't she? Though I agree it seems likely.

Then again, her and Tina had more chemistry last night than Tina and Sonia ever had but has Michelle only ever had male partners? Suppose she could still be bi.

They do the end of the year credits every year but I thought only on the very last episode of the year. Made me check the tv listings!

The trouble with new heads is that they're so distracting! I can't stop staring at them, wondering if I can accept them! I miss the plot. It didn't take that long for me with new Martin but it's even harder with Chelle as she's been gone for so long. I keep straining to remember what exactly she was like and all her back story. Used to love her and sharon's relationship, It must be quite weird for Leticia Dean.

Oh yeah it's usually the very last ep isn't it? Maybe they e something planned that wouldn't make it an appropriate ending? The huge credits, different music is often after a positive or poignant last scene so it went with the 90's music and R&R chilling in the gutter. Perhaps they're actually planning something other than bins and dopey Lee.

They had a scene for just Michelle and Tina chatting on the stairs for no reason and Michelle even confied in her that she was running away from something...Also she was debating to call or text young Mark, not sure what that bit was about either.

They have never had had end of year credits before. A lot of people on the credits Shock I guessing they did it now because they are saving the end credits on nye for the piano ending theme...

Anyone over 17 is game for Max. I'm guessing Martin's Rebecca is even within his age range Blush

What was the point of Johnny going to Portugal with Linda and then coming back 2 days later? Hardly worth the effort or providing much support to Linda. Its not as if he has anything pressing to come back for; no job no boyfriend I was hoping he'd stay out there meet someone and never grace our tv screens again
