New shinny thread here!

OP posts:
LovelyBaubles · 24/12/2016 22:04

nigella When she got out of the taxi I thought she looked like Connie Fisher from the Maria talent show...

NigellasGuest · 24/12/2016 22:39

The hills are alive with the sound of Michelle!

WHAT is the meaning of that blinking cat???

The80sweregreat · 24/12/2016 22:41

Is the cat Craig?

nancy75 · 24/12/2016 23:03

The cat is going to be dots only friend when everyone forgets her over xmas and she ends up having turkey on her own

4minions · 24/12/2016 23:16

why did no one go to her party though? Did someone not mention it earlier when they were all standing about the square that they were going later? SadSad poor Dot

CorporalNobbyNobbs · 24/12/2016 23:24

Yeah martin and Stacey said they were going. But I suppose they were all at the play.

I like Michelle's character but weird that she has a new head.

CorporalNobbyNobbs · 24/12/2016 23:25

I read somewhere they've been trying to get Susan Tully back for years and no joy so they finally gave in and recast.

nancy75 · 24/12/2016 23:32

I read that about Susan Tully, apparently she was adamant that she wouldn't come back.
I don't think it's believable that jack & Ronnie would get for to baby sit & offer to pay for her eye surgery but not think to invite her for xmas dinner - who do they think she would be with?

iknowimcoming · 24/12/2016 23:40

Mmmm I agree re Dot, Patrick asked Derek to have Christmas lunch with them so he wouldn't be alone but didn't think Of Dot, which is odd since he's been practically stalking her lately, and Carmel invited Donna over too. I'm worried dots going to forget about that cat and trip over it and hurt herself and not be found for days Sad

nancy75 · 24/12/2016 23:41

Forgot about Patrick, no way would he leave Dot on her own for xmas

SinisterBumFacedCat · 24/12/2016 23:49

So we can talk about yesterday's spoiler now then WinkGrin

CorporalNobbyNobbs · 25/12/2016 00:32

Well it's not a spoiler now is it!! Grin

Wonder what will happen tomorrow?

SinisterBumFacedCat · 25/12/2016 00:45

We can't talk about tomorrow GrinGrin

EnidButton · 25/12/2016 01:44

Oh Dot. Sad Voices from the past combined with a brass band have tipped me over.

Think I thought they'd find a way of having her stay in the launderette.

Of all the people I thought we'd see in the credits tonight, Heather Trott wasn't one of them. Good old Hev.

HateSummer · 25/12/2016 06:50

If you watched yesterday's episode, then you must have seen tonight's preview. Unless you all stuck your fingers in your ears and shut your eyes, singing la la la, to avoid the spoiler. Grin.

CorporalNobbyNobbs · 25/12/2016 09:39

I didn't see it Hate! Watched online as at the inlaws. Not that I mind spoilers really but for once I don't know what's coming! Smile

EnidButton · 25/12/2016 10:03

I didn't see a preview as I watch EE on iplayer.

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/12/2016 13:09

It was on in a Saturday 😱

Thank god for series link 😂

I take it michele he back then lol 😉

HateSummer · 25/12/2016 17:29

Some might say it was 'chelle, but my first impressions were more Rodney Trotter.

NoisyBrain · 25/12/2016 22:10

Is anyone else wondering why everyone on the square is having their Christmas lunch so late?!

dingdongdigeridoo · 25/12/2016 22:37

She's definitely got Michelle's scowly face down! What was the significance of the allotment other than Arthur spent a lot of time there?

Not a bad episode actually. They finally caught up with Lee!

The80sweregreat · 25/12/2016 22:51

Kathy trying to be drunk was awful.
My Cousin played 'bring me sunshine' at my Uncles funeral. Set me off!

Where did Max buy all those presents? He must have kept the turkey somewhere? And the washing machine was from where? Then it disappeared..( where? )
Throw the book at Lee! Robbing the charity tin was a low, then robbing the Vic the other week even lower ! Still, nice that nobody kicked off!

woodhill · 25/12/2016 23:11

Yes Nosy thought the same

southeastdweller · 25/12/2016 23:16

I thought there being not much misery this year made a refreshing change.

I'm looking forward to seeing Denise and Kim's mum (I'm assuming she comes along soon as she was mentioned twice tonight).

SinisterBumFacedCat · 25/12/2016 23:58

I reckon they will lay on the misery Around new year.
