I hope Ed stays - his timing is very good. Daisy seems nice, but a bit boring, although Daisy Daisy is very nice for a Viennese.

aah poor Daisy! And to think she ditched her fella because Strictly was taking up too much time!

Thanks Jaun, was trying to remember if he'd ever won it, I'm sorry to see Daisy go but thought Greg was better in the dance off.

I do think that the lovely Daisy has reached her peak and that Greg has more improvement to give.

I don't think D. ditched her fella due to Strictly. They;d been going out since August. Maybe it was him that couldn't stand the pressure?

I got the impression from yesterday's show that Daisy was expecting to go this week. Can't remember exactly what she said, something in the VT I think.

Anyway v sad to see her go as I really like her. Agree she was maybe plateauing a bit though.

Very male-dominated lineup in the final stages - hope both Louise and Claudia make it through for a while yet.

I think Gleb and Anita had the paso at Blackpool although I could be wrong.
I don't want any of them to go home, can't they all just win? Obviously especially Ed, lovely Ed, but I'm clearly far too soft as I like watching all of them

Ed's reaction when Claudia said what he was dancing next week was priceless.

Gregs dance off really was s step up but I love the Paso anyway.
Daisy has grown on me but I've no idea why she is famous other than naked pics and famous boyfriends/friends/step dad.

Daphne, yes they did last year but KFG got it the year before, though there is nothing to stop two couples doing the same dance in any one week. In fact I wish they'd go back to the old way of only having 2 dances per week so you can actually compare like for like. Obviously as people get eliminated you start to get more dances but it was also so much better when the AT was saved for the semi-finals.

I actually enjoyed Kevin and Susannah's paso at Blackpool the other year. I even fancied KFG for about a minute

Aah, my brain just wiped out anything pre-Gleb for a moment there. Glad to see Greg stay, I liked Daisy's salsa but Greg was more intense and seemed to nail it more the second time around.

I much preferred it that way too, Congresswoman. And didn't they have do two dances in the final? (I'm old - my memory fails me . . . ). It was good to be able to compare, though.

I was surprised at first that they used up Gangnam Style now rather than saving it for Blackpool with a bunch of backing dancers and then I remembered that they'd been talking about giving Ed GBOF for weeks but kept putting it off as it became clear from the voting patterns (which TPTB have access to) that he wasn't going anywhere.

I assume that once he's done that he will have served his purpose and will no longer be promoted quite so heavily....of course people may still keep voting for him anyway, and TPTB may find they have finally after all these years created a monster they can't control.

Looking forward to Rinder's salsa. It's become obvious that he is properly strong and I'd love to see him do some jawdropping lifts.

Kevin just has to be given someone without dance training next year, seriously it's been 4 in a row now, I'd be so pissed off to be one of the other dancers.
Andre Rieu's version of Hallelujah was the worst ever! Awful dresses, his mike wasn't on, you could barely hear the singers, thank goodness we had Natalie to distract us.
So glad Greg was saved, I"d have been gutted if he'd have gone.

The final depended - one year they had to do five (!) I think - new Latin, new ballroom, favourite Latin, favourite ballroom, showdance.
