I hope Ed stays - his timing is very good. Daisy seems nice, but a bit boring, although Daisy Daisy is very nice for a Viennese.

I watched Ed's performance again because I enjoyed it and I wanted to. I doubt very much that I'm alone in that!

I didn't see the judges comments or anything, as I saw Ed on social media BUT I am sure he got lavish praise from Bruno, 'giving it a go' from Len, foot work and timing comments from Darcy and I have noooooo idea what Craig made of it.

As a lot of people on sm are saying, that was a slight sparkle in the gloom that has been 2016, overall.

Katya has done a brilliant job. It would be great if she could get to Blackpool. Oksana seems lovely too, and can take lots of credit for Rinder's success.

I really enjoyed Ed's salsa after the initial painful bit, but I want to see actual good dancing in the final, sorry. I agree he has massively improved and he isn't bad, but I love to see something which will take my breath away. Though I suppose he is sort of breathtaking so...maybe.

I also get that Danny has a very unfair advantage and comes over as a bit smug but I love to watch him dance.

I only started watching last year so maybe I haven't had time to start hating Kevin but I look forward to his choreography - he and Aljaz come up with fun, interesting concepts and I like seeing what they'll do...also DS is a little dancer and idolises KFG so I flinch a bit at the Kevin hate on here Louise is extremely dull though whereas I loved Kellie last year.

I'm also a big Claudia fan and I agree with Craig about Rinder's annoying face so I think I'm totally out of step with the prevailing opinions on this thread. Am still intrigued to know what went on between Laura and Giovanni to cause the icy gulf between them last week (and I totally dug his twirls, however terribly unsporting and inappropriate they were...which they really were...)

Evening everyone, I'm stuffed, made a pig of myself tonight, didn't want to cook so got chipper tea for me and ds2.
